These beauty’s arrived today fresh from Germany, possibly the nicest 1oz bars around. 

The increasingly elusive silver proof 2009 1oz "Kangaroo at Sunset" was the first time this design was available in this weight. The F12 privy was succeeded by the F15 in 2010-11, and the "Kangaroo in the Outback" issues of 2012-14. The mintage of just 4,000 was the lowest of the 12 BU and Proof coins.
 

Full stack as of today. Missing a few things still in the collection but slowly getting there.

This arrived today, 1937 dated Austrian 2 Schilling, made from .640 silver, Austria released circulating commemorative coins each year, this one was celebrating 200 years since the building of their main church St Karl, 1937 was the last year Austria made silver coins of their own, the Third Reich invading and confiscated their coinage replacing it with their own in 1938.
Made one year only, and 500,000 minted.
The coin I could tell was a bit of a diamond in the rough, it had been kept in a PVC slip for decades, which had turned it into the incredible Hulk, it was dirty and had unattractive toning and probably one reason I got it so cheaply, so I decided this one I would use some MS70 coin cleaner on and it brought it back to life a treat.

Received today all the way from sunny Blackpool- a beautiful 2017 Anniversary 3 Coin Sovereign Set- 2 Sovereign, Sovereign & Half Sovereign.  
A minuscule issue in this Premium presentation of just 450 sets.
These three new additions will join my 2017 Bu 5 Pound Sovereign to form another 'poor man's' four coin set.

Another delivery this morning! I told myself i was investing, not buying shiny things my eyes drawn to. That plan fell apart when i first saw the NIUE Tree of life...and then a Chad Mandala Lion!

This arrived today, pics dont do it justice,
Its a British 1937 dated 3 Pence, made from .500 silver, this style of coin was made from the Kings Coronation in 1937 to 1945,  8,148,100 million being produced in 1937 alone, the smallest and lightest coin in my stack now.
Hmm got that wrong, my two Netherlands are smaller and my 5 Cents Malaya is lighter.

As featured in BYB's latest In Focus Friday episode... Funny story - I was sat watching the episode of IFF while my package was in covid quarantine for 24 hours (so I hadn't opened it yet). I was thinking: "What a jammy b*****d that got them kooks, wish I'd bought some". Completely oblivious that it was me... (I'd ordered in Feb and forgotten what I'd ordered). They look even better out of the caps
