Yeah, bought as bog standard bullion but not too shoddy for its age....I’d like to think the same about me ! Maybe start a new thread to get opinions. Would cost £50 to get graded and delivered...worth it ?

It would be expensive for the bullion 10oz but this is a Proof 10oz coin...

 
 

I can’t find the original Red Dragon 10oz proof on the RM website but the latest one in this finish and denomination is £795

i was only thinking about this thread last night - you must have picked up my thought waves in the ether.
The web app came out last year which enables people to buy and sell the coins KAU and KAG. You can also buy sell KVT's through the 'KMS' platform. Due to the delays in launch the web app had to come out and it wasn't fully debugged. We hadn't been given the opportunity to test it out before it went fully public. Some of the failings have been rectified but it could be better. At the moment a group of us are working on the beta 1.0 version of a mobile app.
There is a long list of bugs and suggestions we have made - we are working closely with the coders. It is a lot better environment than before with good communication going both ways. When the KMS app v 1.0 is debugged it will move to v 2.0 and a wider group of people on the Kinesis Telegram forum will be recruited. When this larger group is through we should have a solid platform.
This month the Indonesian post office project kicks off. There is an agreement between the Malaysian post office for Indonesian workers in Malaysia to buy KAU and send them back home and their family can withdraw the cash at their local post office. There is $1 billion a month involved in this process. Kinesis is likely to capture much of this b/c it will be cheaper and more convenient for workers and their families. There will also be a compulsory savings scheme for PT POS (Indonesian post office) workers which involves KAU. This will eventually spread nationally so everyone must save at least 1g of gold a year in KAU. We have been told that over 2020 all the post offices in the ASEAN countries are coming on board. The Indonesian post office is very keen on this link up and is driving it forwards. 
We are expecting the US debit card in the next few months - the EU/UK cards still need FSA approval so won't be as soon. 
XcelTrip - a travel company has recently started selling holidays with an option to pay in Kinesis coins. i know some people who have done just that. 
There is a hard wallet CoolBitX which will take the Kinesis coins now and it will shortly be available in a Kinesis branded form.
There are a number of other deals waiting in the wings but really things depend on getting the mobile app right - then the deals can be rolled out - without a bullet proof app the progress isn't going to come. So we are working with the coders to get it right.
 

I think it’s all about balance. And remembering to once in a while ask yourself the simple question “WHY?”.
Some people would never understand why you do some things like invest and build wealth. Everyone’s reasons are different but as long as you have a reason and you are clear with yourself what that reason is then it’s good motivation and more importantly contributes to a balanced life and happiness.
I know some people in their 50s/60s with a lot of money but they are so tight they are miserable and old habits die hard. Nothing wrong with being tight but just make sure you have good reason. I can be tight (i prefer the word frugal!) But it’s so when i want to or need to spend i can.
I always say this. I like spending money. I like making money more. Most of all though i like spending money to make money. You need to speculate to accumulate.

Today i was lucky to receive a hand made three layer box from my father in law for all my bullion and collectible coins. 
The handles and brass hinge’s are recycled from scrap. All the wood was recovered from leftover cuts. 

I have to scratch my post about being a bad bad boy and getting nothing for christmas, the present didn't arrive but my post should change, I went out to fill the car,bought a scratch ticket and won $100, got home to find my wife on the speaker phone with my airforce pilot son and my beautiful daughter in law...and the second I walked in my son announced they were expecting....I'm going to be a grandad...That is a great Christmas, so I received the best news anyone could hope for at Chrstmas....stuff the present...I got what I always wanted.

What could you turn 12k into over the space of a year? A successful man could do very well. Real profits, not speculation eh?

Thanks for the input @Roy  my gut still says just to hold it and see what happens.  Time will tell, I will still be following Gold Una and how sales go in the secondary market

@kimchi  As before pal it is a nice coin & I'd advise any collectors who like the design to just buy it, don't worry about flipping I don't see it soaring away. Personally I'm not going to buy it as proofs are my thing mainly & I've too many collections on the go. My problem like most collectors is I buy one coin then I feel compelled to complete a set if one starts lol.
Bear in mind Perth mint just love anniversaries & have used this design a number of times & will continue to do so IMHO in the future. Mind you could start a collection of anniversary coins.
 

II dont know how many coins are in this series but at this rate it will cost latecomers over $100,000 !!!! That’s too much money to have locked away without being able to live in it !

Honestly The East India Company does some nice coins. This “Shield Sov” is stunning, and the little details like the small George and Dragon by the date is awesome.

Here is the 20 dinara Yugoslavia coin.  A Nice little addition to my collection.  I also had the le franc poche book.  From what I’ve read in it so far it seems pretty good 😃.  If anyone would like a pic of a specific coin page let me know.  There are more variations to some coins than I previously realised. 

All of which has been very nice Gold...
We'll soon be back to being offered a lot of dross for a while...

I got the enough cash/savings  - got most of everything i want/need. i park my money inito gold to save me wasting it 
I am not someone who looks to profit or ripoff selling to get the absolute max. 
Would be happy to get what the average market value - feels it is - but at this stage it is not the case so early 
Quite happy to sit on a potential classic for years to come to be fair 
As long as it never has a down side under £4k i paid i'm not really bothered to be fair  If i have to sell it down the road for £5k would be happy making £1k on it 
If it is proven to be worth £50k in x20 years time by the market, ill be just as happy to take that also
