I love it.  One point of interest the certificate clearly declares BU quality, but the declaration tells you not to handle to avoid spoiling the Proof quality.

Just got round to ""checking" the Norfrim Britannia offer which @HighlandTiger so kindly shared last year.  I ordered three 2002.  As I love the alternate designs, imagine my delight when this popped out, of all three!...... "Bingo!"

2003 1/10oz Proof Gold Britannia - this is my first proof Brit, I didn't realise on the 2003 only the obverse has mirror fields. At first I thought it was an error but it seems not.

1 oz silver bar First National Bank of evergreen Park.

Surely there has to come a time when confidence goes, 50 paper contracts to one physical ounce, then 100 to an ounce, 500 to an ounce, 1000 to an ounce and so forth, there has to come a time when the ratio is just so ridiculous that everyone must realise they are never going to see any physical if they demand it.

Got this back from Numistacker just now. Have to say a massive thanks to him for doing it & a massive thanks to NCS for getting rid of a print mark & water spot [emoji4]

Received a couple of days ago but have had trouble with my SD card reader.
My first submissions for any kind of grading. Decided to initially go with PCGS as they grading weeks in Paris and accept submissions at coin fairs. These were dropped of at Birmingham on the 11th June.
A bit disappointed not to get one PR70 from my 6 krugers and not to get two 70's for my 2017 proof sovs, but hey, I'm greedy

Loving my Piedfort sovereign its stunning , but not happy with my second offering from the mint a Queens beast 1oz proof Lion that's going back along with the Unicorn no more proof silver from RM for me.

I'm sure we will have plenty of these posts in the next few days.

Today I bought a 2017 half sov and a 1oz gold buffallo. Always liked the look of them.

A brief respite from the 2017 Sovereign fun today: back to some plain new silver. 
I know - for the purists a silver "round" is an unspeakable thing, but I absolutely love these 2015 Scottsdale 1 ounce rounds - with the date and the lion showing up when you tilt them. Sticking with Scottsdale - added another four of their 100g bars to the stack (I like the size and style of these).  Then another 1 ounce 2014 Mexican Libertad proof: always grab these from 2014 if I see them, as it's a rarer year, although the 1 ounce was most abundant at 4,700 mintage. 
Then a couple of NGC boxes - need some nice MS70s to pop in them now.. ?

It has been a pretty epic couple of days and I would just like to acknowledge "Mrs Backyard Bullion" without who you all would have to wait another week for your bars to be ready!
They are all hallmarked with an initial mintage of "171" 
This is my "hallmark" the BYB in the pill shape is unique to me at the Edinburgh assay office. No-one can ever register the same mark. The 999 is the purity of the silver, the castle is the Edinburgh assay office mark and the "S" is the 2017 year mark!

They are also all serialised, polished and ready to go!

They are also all packed up and ready to be put in the post on Monday morning so you should all have your bars by the middle of next week!
