You may expect that a large entity like the Royal Mint would only use the best, most skilled web development contractor available. As is often the case with government contracts it is who you know as opposed to the reputation you've built because of what you know. It was probably some fresh from uni cut and pasters that are related to someone within the Mint that got the job. What they need from their website would not be an overly difficult thing to achieve so long as you know what you're doing...
And if I'm wrong and it was a pro outfit then maybe they should take a long hard look at their team...

I did ask the Royal mint about their high security no leak policy on new releases and the answer given was to avoid " unfair competition " - whatever that means ?
There could be many interpretations for this statement but i suspect in many cases it actually creates " unfair competition " rather than resolving it !

Hi folks - thanks for letting me in. I am VERY new to the world of precious metals but have made some very small investments recently. I think I’ve found myself hooked! I literally purchased some silver/gold and before I knew it I started serious research and am fascinated by all things silver. I saw some YouTube advice and noticed that ‘the Silver Forum’ was flagged up as the place to go, learn, talk and understand this new found passion. I would like to build a collection and am at a stage of life where I can to a certain degree. Look forward to finding out so much more.

My 2 ct : Investing and holding PM, Art, Crypto etc will make unexperienced people nervous. Specially when browsing the internet for info on their investment. The first thing you will find are horror-stories.
My suggestion: Read up on PM's. Do some research and create a tactic that works for you. Then stick to it and trust yourself.
