I wanted to put this in the photo only section but there wasn't an option to start a thread there.
There's so many different crown designs and it would be great to see what you guys have. I only have one crown in my collection but would love to get some more. I'd say the crown is my favourite silver coin love the size of these.
So post some pictures of your crowns not your crown jewels lol your lovley silver coins

Hello folks! I started my stacking journey by ordering a couple 1oz silver Britannia from Amazon for some credit I had, and sold them to acquire a beautiful 10oz Queen's Beast! I've signed up to get a general idea of the market, and interact with other like minded stackers and collectors.

Only been stacking a few months so not got much of a stack yet. Gonna stack gold now and have a sovereign coming in the post.

Hello there guys - I’m new to this forum, even if i somtimes have been reading as visitor in the background. I am in the late 50`s and live in Germany. Since a couple years i am trying to get some precious metal into my stock for the retirement. Mostly silver as some say it is the Gold of the small people. My Focus has been on Bullion, but since COVID dropped into our live the spot for Bullion got insane. I hope to learn more about precious metals and might share experience with you guys. Of course i also hope i can trade,sell or buy from time to time some peaces of coins which i still miss in my collection.

I would be interested in what people think of the Royal Mint packaging for 2022 Sovereigns (and similar coins).
Personally, I am not a fan of the shiny (presumably) veneered boxes.  They remind me of high gloss car veneers in the 80’s and 90’s.  They are also magnet for scratches and I suspect chipping and  delaminating in time.
My preference (by far) would be an English Oak / Ash box, with no laquer, and much in the vein of those produced by @Alun which are in my opinion far superior.
Am I alone on disliking the RM boxes?

Hi thanks for letting me join the group – I've been hovering around for a while - I finally took the plunge to join
I bought my first gold sovereign bullion coins in 2015 – I thought it would be a good way to invest after coming into some inheritance money – I also have a passive interest in British history so moved on to acquiring some of older sovereigns with a view putting a collection together of the various monarch heads from the different mints of the empire – i also bought a few proof coins mainly sovereigns and a couple of Britannia’s – I currently have a collection of around 40 PM coins – I still feel very much a novice so am joining the group very much as a student hoping to learn more – eventually - but not yet i will probaly sell or trade some of my collection , so been part of this group will hopfuly help my education and give me the knowledge and confidence going forward

Just received my 2022 5 coin sovereign set, looks great

Thought I'd see what these are all about. There's a good chunk of weight to it but not sure I'm a fan of the Mexican gold yet 🤔

Received these and a stamp collection today but i know nothing about most of the coins! If anyone knows anything about them then interested to know! They are all mostly proof, the capsules are scratched but coins look good. Going to have a proper look later when i get home from work.
