No brainer if you want to buy PM. You know that the sellers are good & the coins have been looked after. I have not had one problem with over 7-8 transactions in the last 2 weeks, but only bought from people that have a lot of good feedback.

get your cheque books and credit cards out folks
" 2020 Una and the Lion Two Kilo Silver Proof Coin.
After the success of the 2019 Una and the Lion coins (which sold out within hours) The Royal Mint are issuing the coin in a two kilo silver proof version.
The Privy Council have announced The Royal Mint will issue this coin in 2020. We do not yet have a release date or prices. Please keep checking back for further information.
Una and The Lion
William Wyon designed this now iconic Una and the Lion design.
Wyon was chief engraver of The Royal Mint from 1828 until 1851.
The design is based on Edmund Spenser's book, The Faerie Queene. Wyon crafted the design entirely by hand and it was first used on gold five pound coins in 1839.
Privy Council
We first heard about the coin after the Privy Council published information about it.
The Privy Council is made up of senior politicians who advise the Queen on such matters as bank holidays, coinage and lively company statuses. T
he Royal Mint have to submit any new coin designs to The Privy Council for approval and that information is then announced on the Privy Council website.
Obverse
The obverse of the coin will feature the Jody Clark coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
Reverse
The Privy Council notice states the reverse will feature
"a depiction of the figure Una from Edmund Spencer’s The Faerie Queen leading a lion with the inscription “DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS” and the date in roman numerals. The coin shall have a grained edge.’"

If 2oz MS70 is £1,400 these days, 2kg is gonna sell for some serious bananas !
2oz = £1400 = £700oz
therefore 1kg is 32.1507oz x = so 2kg = 64.3014oz
£700oz x 64.3014oz = £45,010 for an MS70 graded 2kg for when it is released !
You heard it here first !

The Mint in Ireland must wonder why these are so damn popular all of a sudden. I had a look at their site and almost everything is sold out, these are one of the exceptions. Not for long at this rate mind you. The ones I saw on their site were in presentation cases though.

While transferring my silver Tad collection to a beautiful box supplied by @morezone, I was a tad perturbed to discover that my 2010 was scratched and needed replacing. The substitute arrived this morning.

Capsule opens fine but coin is stuck in one half of the capsule.
Added 0 minutes later... Haha! More likely the unlucky ones with extra small capsules 🤣

I had the same issue, removed half the capsule and the coin is wedged into the other half. Perhaps we're the lucky ones with extra size coins!

Received plenty of coins today but these are my favourites
Started the South African decimal silvers, some nice Polish silvers, and this beautiful Cyprus 9 piastres 1913 with a mintage of only 50,000- probably my rarest world silver to date!
