Fancied one of these for a while... so bought two. Sequential serial numbers, which is nice.
I don't know if they'll carry much premium over the years (probably a little) but they really look the part IMHO.
First time using silver trader website and very happy with the service.

    Appreciate anyone's thoughts on them.

ok, I'm in for this. Give me a couple of days to sort some stuff out and I'll post what I'm donating.
It's not a competition as to who donates the largest 'gift', quite frankly some can afford more than others. So no one should judge any of us regarding our gifts. Some of us will benefit, some of us won't in terms of what we receive, but it's the spirit of taking part and giving rather than receiving that matters. So I believe.

This months buy - purely for the weight:
    5 Scottsdale 1oz bars
    2 Scottsdale 2oz stacking rounds
    2 Royal Mint 1g bars
I just love the lion head on these 2oz stackers. The obverse shines just as much. The 1g gold bars are quick and easy to liquidate when required.

Backdated some of my Rwandan African Wildlife Silver 1 oz Silver (Rwanda Hippo 2012) Bullion Coins arrived today (ordered from Germany www.bekomunzen.de using google translate from German to English and paid via paypal) 49.90 euros per coin and 16.90 Euros delivery I wish someone told me when I started don't collect a series that has been going for years because it will cost you an arm and leg to backdate the coins . Not planning to backdate any further than the 2012 Hippo due to premiums.

Added to my stack other existing Rwandan African Wildlife series collecting

Started a new series come out recently Rwanda Nautical Ounce (Santa Maria/Hms Endeavour) and premiums low so I have bought ten of them.

I must admit that I do love the Rwandan BU coins.

There are a lot of members on the forum that actually do not post, not everyone likes to reply to posts publicly. These members often do read a lot on the forum and purchase from members trade listings via PM.

@Bullionaire the above quoted is probably the best solution?

10 oz silver bar from Provident Metals and a 2014 bullion sovereign.  The sov was a "random date" 1911-2018 buy.  Would have liked an earlier date Elizabeth II as I don't have any of those obverse types, but the price was good and at the end of the day, gold is gold.

Some new silver pieces for the stack -25 2018 Silver Britannias, 20 QB 2 oz 2018 Falcons, an Emu (not as bad as i thought...), another BU  2017 Swan (love that design) - all bought when silver price was very low 😊. A 2018 1/4 ounce gold Falcon shown here - and a better one that will go for NGC grading.
Then at auction today - some old gold bullion, nothing special: a 1905 sovereign and an 1858 shiled half sovereign.  That 1858 has the characteristic dot just above the middle cross  (not that i have been looking at Marsh like a sovereign nerd......😉😉).

Two additional 1 oz Gold Beasts landed into my collection (Lion & Dragon). Seller is not a member silver forum and the coins did not have any capsules but still in pristine condition. My lonely Red Dragon of Wales now has brother. Still on the hunt for 5x Lions / 4 Griffins and 8 Dragons in 1 oz Gold. In my experience the Dragon proven the hardest coin to backdate on the secondary market.

I have asked reputable European dealer to price match 10 x 1 oz Queens Beast Gold Coins for Falcon / Black Bull and Unicorn of Scotland with a not so well known/reputable dealer selling 1% over spot and they did. Reputable dealer then retracted the price match but still offered a significant discount so I pulled the trigger. The next photo of the mighty 1 oz Gold Queens Beasts will showcase 43 oz Gold in a couple of weeks time.
