Postman came knocking this morning and delivered these two lovely items. The Netherlands Lion and the British Virgin Island's Pegsus.

A really nice 20 peso. Also purchased from @gazer a  NGC graded 1911 C Sovereign.
I now have two of these gold 20 peso aztec coins. My other one has a bit of red marking on it. One day i may put that one up for sale on here, but for now i'm just gonna enjoy handling them both and looking at the really cool design through a loupe!

I ask because I'm in my 6th decade of life and I don't know what is around the corner. 
I always read 'for the long term' or 'for my kids' yet it's alien to me. I haven't had that option.
Wait. What? Gold has been available for ever so why are people stacking 'for the long term' now when there wasn't that option before?
It seems that silver and gold have become the greatest asset class available. Well, since 2011 that is.
Don't give your kids gold. They know less what to do with it than you do. Should they leave it to their kids?
Use your gold. Buy bricks and mortar and land when everyone else has to sell. Spend it when it's most wanted.
As for inheritance, don't die a rich man. 😉

I thought you kept your gold in the most secure safest location on the earth Fort Knox. It looks very tidy and clean to me

Two 10 oz Silver RM Britannia bars from Arshimo2012. The first bars (exclude the 2018 $1 Australia 1 oz Silver Dragon bars) that I have collected. These very beautiful bars, the other fours silver pieces Lego bricks bought from Arshimo2012 previously.

Another haul of silver - some nice condition vintage Libertad BU from 2002 and 2005, a tube of Oriental Border Britannias, more Kooks and Krugs, a Panda and some slabbed QBs, and a few more QB 1/4 gold BUs. Also trying to upgrade the quality of my Morgans - so I am pleased with this 1904 O Morgan.  Always looking for MS 70 candidates in that bunch (i found some ! ).  Others got the typical scratches on the QEII face...
 

Arrived the other day.  A 2018 1 oz gold kangaroo.  And thanks to Alun for sending me a Queens Beast box and 3 Privateer series boxes, one for myself and two for friends at work who are delighted with theirs.  Alun is a genuine craftman.

Two very small Mexican gold coins (2018 1/10 BU Libertads) and for contrast - a stunning 2 ounce silver Mexican mint aztec calendar.  
Then a 1 ounce QB Griffin - in platinum.  Probably not getting all of them in platinum, but this design is very striking in it. 
 

An 1884 Gold Sovereign...W.W. “buried”. Small B.P....Normal in Marsh, but still a lovely addition.
