Anyone ever found two die numbered shield sovereigns with different dies before? The whole purpose of die numbers were to increase quality control and prevent the number of errors that occurred before they were introduced. Each number could be traced back to an engraver.
So it was quite a surprise when today I found the same die number but with two different dies, proven clearly by the fact one has an overstrike 🤔

Keep chin up and realise - that we are the -  "PREPARED" and are not, right now, being led as "sheeple" to the slaughter - By owning some of the good stuff - we are AHEAD of the NEXT STAGE of the CURVE!

I too, feel extremely worried, for those that are less well prepared or less financially astute/educated 
I have tried (quietly and gently) over the last 6/7 years to "educate" some that I really care for -
to bet regularly with the response - "Don't be daft -That will NEVER HAPPEN!" 😲
And we are WHERE!? NOW! 🙄
As I have oft said - "Bert wert duz aye NO!?"

Received this 2020 silver Swan from Martin at Silvertrader in the post today. Lovely coin goes well with the rest of these in the series.

Beautiful Silver & Gold Krugerrands- the 50th Anniversary Gold 1/2oz Proof Krugerrand has a minuscule 800 declared Mintage- rarely available.  I think @kneehow has another Gold...if anyone can prise it out of his mitts. 

Purchased off an independent seller, so again limited knowledge of the COA pedigree. I have been searching for any indications of the COA based on “AMS, 2011”, Doug Thomas, RMS Douro Gold Hoard, etc... not finding much...I would believe there would have been collaborative provenance for NGC to grade these coins, just not certain of what documentation took place following the findings in 1995. Also, I don’t necessarily think it is a fake, but those possibilities always do exist.

Steve, It was purchased as is, so obviously limited pedigree other than what is stated as being graded by NGC. It does show up in the NGC Registry with no photo...suspicious? Not sure what dates NGC started taking representative photos of their graded coins for documentation purposes. 

Regrettably no gold received, but did get some added Platinum to the stack!

We closed our showroom to the public last week, before the government order, and out of a full team of about 18, we have just 3 or 4 in the office, picking, packing, and shipping orders, receiving deliveries.
Five are working from home multi-tasking around childcare.
Some staff have been starting work at 6 a.m.; others answering e-mails until 10.30 p.m.
We managed to provide all or most home-workers with a notebook PC and a company mobile.
Installed a new IP based telephone system.
We did fail to answer over 90% of the 300 per hour incoming telephone calls late last week though. Must try harder!
We provided all our staff with high quality masks. I am still appalled that most supermarkets and other nationwide shops have failed to provide masks for their staff, and as for NHS staff not having PPE before now, it is incomprehensible. W.H.O. issued a major epidemic alert as early as 31st January. Our leaders have no reasonable excuse. (End of rant).
We also added more software and back-office system upgrades last week than in a normal month.
