Due to covid-19 I've been waiting on some of my silver to arrive for months so I haven't been able to post anything until now. 
Silver has gone up since 🙂

More 'in the last week' than 'today. But thought I'd start a tube of sovs.
All old victorias if I can keep to it. Love the young heads.

Oh wow. Definitely a good decision. It looks like a proof coin anyway!

After some advice from a forum member, decided  to buy this 1989 Quintuple Bullion sovereign instead of a 1989 proof double sovereign.
 

@Wonger I would love to know what crystal ball’s or bolloxs you are looking into? 
I personally don’t profess to understand or have the ability to interpret any of the charts and stats you post- but are they worth a fiddlers fig at this point in time?  
This current worldwide situation is unprecedented- I’m pretty sure there is no chart or stat in history to liken it to.  
I would suggest there isn’t a government, analyst, broker, investment house, market commentator blah, blah, blah. Who knows where any of this is going- let alone where it’ll end up.  All the people in the ‘know’ appear to be flailing around currently- and frankly, it inspires little confidence to us great unwashed.
Why not comment constructively and in a helpful way? why not stick to your own strategy? why would someone so confident of the future worry what a few people on a Forum are doing?
I’m pretty certain that few people here are your target audience for your drivel.
Save it for the canteen and your  ‘boooooom!!!’ boys- the same boys who piled into a drug discovery company I have been watching on the NASDAQ when the Coronavirus hit- piling in and ramping it up to over double its value- and what drug are they developing? An antibiotic to treat the Clap! Jeez....

Received this 1989 Bu 5 Pound Sovereign to join my 3 coin set to form a ‘poor man’s’ 4 coin 1989 set! 
I haven’t bought any Sovereigns for quite some time and re-aquatinting myself with 22 Carat Gold makes me wonder why I had  taken a break. 
I think grading these classic and special year design coins has its place- but these are staying in their presentation cases and going in that drawer in the dresser for safekeeping- you know the one, the one housing the best cutlery, the Irish Linen Napkins and the Elk Horn handled corkscrew. 







 

Just picked up this 2009 PCGS 70DCAM graded sovereign from Drake Sterling Numismatics. In part payment I sold my 69DCAM sovereign.

A minuscule issue in this Premium presentation of just 450 sets.
These three new additions will join my 2017 Bu 5 Pound Sovereign to form another 'poor man's' four coin set.
