Today I received an early Christmas Present with the help of @Lr103

some additions to the World War I Collection and a few bits from South America. 
I particularily like this ‘struck trough’ coin where you can still make out the fibres of the material that got wedged in. 

2003 1 oz Gold Proof Britannia. Last photo update 1 oz Gold Britannia coins still on the hunt 2001/2007 coins to complete seven set unique designs lady Britannia in 1 oz Gold.

Bought this necklace for my love, with the names of my 2 beautiful daughters. 
Way over spot btw 🤤 😄
 

A very nice stamp to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Peruvian Libra coin, Peru Mint background.

 

Sometimes I just can’t resist buying interesting odd bits. These are the Franklin Mint Floral Alphabet Miniature Plate Collection. Sterling Silver. Just under 300gm. 
Each plate has a flower that begins with a letter of the alphabet- 26 in total. 
Were destined for the melt, I grabbed them. Jus thought they looked cool. They need a clean, but for now put them in 1oz capsules and they look nice. 

Thanks to @Numistacker as ever for the NGC service: a very nice haul, with sheer joy of getting MS70 on the QB Yale and Falcon (been struggling to find good enough raw coins to submit). Love the gold Reverse PF Libertads , with those you have a better than 50% chance to get a 70 ....but always nice to get them ! 
Keeping up the Rwanda Nauticals as well, another great design the Victoria. 
Finally - I graded one of my favourite gold proof sets - the inaugural Aussie nuggets from 1986. Mixed grades but lovely to see them all safely slabbed together.

Started in September 19. 97oz of fine silver and a half-sovereign. Starting to picture the foundation stack (tubes of Royal Mint Brits/RCoA and Perth Dragon Bars). Intend to continue with the Big 5, Ice Age Giants & Lunar III series. Other bits i've picked up along the way - not sure where they fit in just yet, likely to liquidate at some point. Main aim for 2020 is to start filling Alun's sovereign box.

I have to say the phoenix error is the star.

Couple of sovereigns (1909/2015) from Atkinsons, another 2014 Libertad and my first buffalo added to the collection this week.

The closest I could offer in this respect is a 100 Bolivares


Sorry, no good light this time of year; the reverse is actually quite lustrous but this greenish gold mined in Guyana is not the most photogenic anyway. 

Very nice, great to complete the set. 
Any plans to pick up the last 5 Silica Gel bars to complete your date run? 😄

Last of my Black Friday purchases arrived.  2018 Perth Dragon 1 oz gold coin bar, 1 oz silver Asahi bar, and 3 Silvertowne Buffalo 1 oz silver rounds.  The bars were spot deals, and I added the buffalo's to get over the $ amount needed to be exempt from sales tax.

QB 10oz Dragons and 2018 Valiants

Not all received today, but are being ‘shown today’ for the first time.
A few months ago, I fell for these ‘Sovereigns of South America’ (same size, weight etc as the British Sovereign), and started to hoover up as many as I could!
The more observant might have noticed a couple of them appearing on Numi videos recently (1917 and 1966). Lots more heading to NGC soon I hope😃!

but sell for reasonable prices 🤑...just got to love them 😀.
