As for gold I was currently trying to figure out what's in the bankers plans with Basel 3 in 2023 or 2025 depending on how far they kick the can down the road. I don't think silver is affected anymore, hard to find reliable information.

I will be adding 12 bullion sovereigns to the stack, one a month and will hopefully pick up the 6 queen's beasts that I'm missing. That's the main aim will add a few extras If funds allow

~1979 PF70 Sovereign. (Not going for it anymore).

Trust me the best time to buy these will be around the 21st December, when those who have bought them and can’t afford to hold and still need to buy their kids presents.  Offer them £450, get a fellow TSF to also lowball the same seller their ar*se will drop out. If you need help doing this I’ll help out.

To stop buying stuff  

There does definitely seem to be a full on campaign to bid these up.
Whether it's to artificially inflate the prices or, an annoyed collector, who knows.
Most ending in the next few days (at least) have a highest bidder with 1 feedback.
What a mess ebay is!
 

Anyway to contact eBay and have it flagged and removed? It's not right at all but I guess whoever it is will just make another fake account and that there's probably more then one to look out for anyway. 

Yep that was my conclusion to. There look to be next to no legit sales on ebay. Unless everyone who had bought one has just got into coins with this release and if so the more the merrier  

@James32 Hi James. So I messaged second highest bidder. Think they read this post as they word for word told me they had spent their funds and to remove them from the bids to. So my highest bidder was sitting at £519. I put it on FB for £650 and was willing to wait and see today. Coin sold on FB last night after maybe 30 mins so ended auction. 
So good outcome. My gothic crown is now free that I have and that will pay for grading to! 

I am actually underway with the crowns. 👍
 

@NewCoins From memory on the Una thread a few years ago there was a dealer stock piling them back then. Don’t know how it played out in the end but nobody ever mentioned who it was but the commenters all seemed to know. 
 
This was all done through ebay as well.

So my highest bidder was sitting at £519. I put it on FB for £650 and was willing to wait and see today. Coin sold on FB last night after maybe 30 mins so ended auction. 
So good outcome. My gothic crown is now free that I have and that will pay for grading to! 

Raw, budget only allows for GVF half sov and VF crowns.

I just ran through the last 10 Gothic crowns to sell on eBay at auction listing. Nine of them were purchased by an account with (1) feedback score.
I was considering whether this could be explained as a glitch of some sort, but the 10th buyer had a feedback score of (348) with a bid made on 6th December which was release day, for £700. Which isn't too far over the going rate of around £675 on the Buy It Now listings.
The tenth buyer could possibly be a second chance offering. Unfortunately for the seller, second chance offers are excluded from any promotion like "Max £1 Seller Fee" 
Info on Buy It Now listings seems rather limited. They would also be harder to target since the seller could quickly relist, especially if it's still in the promotional period.
 
I conclude that someone, or some group, are using fake accounts to outbid genuine buyers. Admittedly, that seems like a lot of work, but I wouldn't know. It could be quite easy to someone well versed in it. Of the ten listings, that's (at least) nine times a buyer has been forced to look at alternate listings. 
I do accept I could be wrong and would welcome any other explanations.

Yeah I've been there before hence suggestion. Had a auction for a watch and two bidders went at it hammer and tongs for days, same thing..higest bidder had little feedback and incoherent in dialogue so I reached out to second higest minutes after auction ended to find out they found something else elsewhere 🤣 what a waste of 7 days that was lol.
