Nowhere near as impressive as some of the stunning posts on here recently but this popped through the door to add to my humble stack courtesy of @Shep, great guy to deal with 👍🏻
I have the complete 2oz QB Ag collection but really have no intention of acquiring all the 1/4oz gold versions.....but this is the second QB 1/4oz in my humble stack.
My 1/4oz purchases happen for two simple reasons.....is it the right price point for what it is (in my opinion) and do I like it! That's about as technical as my thought process gets haha 😁
On a separate note I don't suppose someone has a good quality 1/4oz capsule I could buy? Need a home for my 1/4oz lion

Fantastic service from @BritanniaCoinCompany nice little pick up of an 1982 half sovereign and a 1987 1/10oz Brit.
 

Just before Xmas got myself a couple of 1kg bars. I really like the cast bars and I was hoping to get a couple but these were the ones I ended up ordering and really happy with them! If you're looking for silver bars definitely consider these. (and a T rex coin in the background because why not)

The 2013 Gold Britannia is an interesting coin.
The 2012 was the last year they did Gold Britannia in 22ct and had dimensions of 32.69mm
In contrast the 2013 Gold Britannia was the first one in fine (999) gold but were larger 38.61mm but thinner 1.58mm
In 2014 the coin returned to 32.69mm like the 22ct but in 999 gold. 
it therefore has the curious value of being the largest (width anyway) 1oz Britannia made.
 

The 1897 Melbourne sovereign arrived today, a recent eBay buy.
Have had the two 1979 sovereigns for a while. A great year!

I thought I’d share some pics I just took. They are quite fabulous examples and real eye catchers. When time allows I will send them off for grading. 
As I am sure some will already know, but for those who do not, the half ounce gold/reverse proof for 2018 has a mintage 1000; that was the first year the reverse in gold was struck. Accompanying that pair are the 2019 equivalents, where mintages were even more modest 650 for the gold proof and 500 for the reverse in half ounce. Suffice to say I’m made up. Many thanks Rich 😎.

Another nice delivery full of history! Thank you @MikeG1978 for your contribution to the pile. I sniped the 1967 Gulden last second on eBay for £2.20 after too much wine. Then I realised they made a nickel coin that year too 😒. Delighted to find this was the silver version at significantly under spot!!!
