You should run a competition who guesses the correct number gets the coin from you as a gift. I'm in first with 108.

Bogart got a reaction from Wileyfox in Is BU a misleading term to use for a bullion sovereign?
So if the descrition has come from the RM you must then assume it is incorrect.😎

And I would not worry about CGT. To exceed the threshold needs a bit of doing I would think for most members here, well this year at least. And as mentioned before doing private details leaves not real paper trail for the HMRC minions.😆

Bogart got a reaction from Vern in Chinese Mint v Royal Mint
The RM does not help itself by as I say packing say Britannias on top of one another in a plastic tube. Lost count of the number of faces of Liz that have feint scratches on them, Britannias, QBs the lot.

Only yesterday fitted mine. Located in an understairs cupboard, hidden by paint tins, clothes racks and other junk. Be a damned hard job to shift it if found. Secured to concrete slab by 16mm anchor bolt as per manufacturers instruction. Additionally have drilled and tapped 4 12mm holes on corner, inserted studs and
dropped into suitable holes filled with chemical resin. When we move safe will stay!

People keep coins in their houses so they can look at them, same as a stamp collection. It is nice occasionally to have a look at them in all their glory. I do not want to trot off to some bank on a rainy morning to do the same.

I reckon 200kg max is about what a couple of guys can manhandle into place using rollers etc. Last summer we had a pizza oven delivered kerbside onto gravel hell weighed over 500kg. Took around 3 weeks to get it into place using an engine hoist and a homemade trolley, never again.

I wouldn't try to repaint it leave it as is. It has what one calls patina, shows it has had a bit of life.

Getting in in and out of what you describe as a motor might be harder than you think. A 4x4 or van yes not a saloon.

RM and the word efficient in the same sentence bit of a dichotomy there.
