Also some fractional silver from an online live sale. 2 1/4 oz noahs arks  2 1/10 oz walking liberties and 2 teeny weenie 1 gram geigers.
Loving this stacking game guys im not gonna lie. I think im hooked!

Bought the Peace and Morgan dollars from @Arganto. My mate @GoldDiggerDave was able to sensitively remove the black carbon on the Morgan (below and after photos below) and he did a great job 👏.
 

Received a package from @GoldDiggerDave today with a group of coins I have been buying from various UK sellers (thank you Dave). All sovereigns and one 2012 1/4 sovereign graded by NGC, the Marsh guide says that there were only 137 of these minted.

My first 1oz Gold piece so it had to be a 2022 and had to be a Brit.

And indeed you would be right in that regard. And for that reason I have several one ounce coins for each of my three kids.
But with respect, it doesn't always come down to lowest cost average when buying for kids, trying to keep things equal in case I get knocked over by a bus tomorrow 🤷. 
Also, from what I can gather, these 1/10s seem to retain much of their premium when offered for resale anyway.
I suppose it all boils down to why you buy gold in the first place, it's not all about absolute profit margins for me, it has evolved into a fun way to save for 3 kids futures rather than have cash sitting in the bank doing nothing. The fact that it hasn't been frittered away on rubbish is a big thing too.
A few quid saved on a one ounce coin over a quarter or a tenth is neither here nor there really, it means we can build a diverse and eclectic collection/stack, having fun along the way.

First minted bar I've owned.... And what a stunner it is! Thanks to @Scootermuppet for today's delivery. 

I was always going to get some 1g bars, just out of curiosity if nothing else, so when I saw@arphethean 's thread with just three left, (at the time!), it was clearly meant to be!! 
I think the fact that they are enclosed in the plastic hides just how thin these really are, but I like my first foray into gold bars, perfect condition and very happy with the deal. And they are consecutive, which I hadn't expected!!
My partner did ask why I need three Sim cards though🤷!

You've had some really good advice from several top members of the forum and there's not much I can add to it really, apart from maybe going into more detail about the premium memberships.
The membership level is really key in my opinion. Standard/Free membership will allow you to access virtually all areas of the forum apart from specific areas reserved for paying premium members.
You will get access to the buy/sell sections but all new posts are hidden to non-paying members for 3 days, this allows all Premium members (Silver/Gold/Platinum/Platinum Plus) members to have the first option to buy the listed items, which is one of the main benefits of becoming a premium member. The money you will save on deals on here will cover your membership fees after your first few purchases.
You can still list items for sale as a free non-paying member but you're limited to one post every 30 days. Having a paid membership will allow you to list multiple items for sale, and also take advantage of other people's sales posts as soon as they're listed.
Other benefits to being a paid member include things like being able to attach images to messages and allows you to join in with reactions to other members content such as like, love, lol, thanks etc etc.
Whether you're buying or selling a paid membership is definitely the way to go.
I have been a member of this forum for almost 2 years but only within the last couple of months have I started stacking more seriously so I upgraded my membership, but I honestly wish I had done it sooner.
