So this is the gem I picked up today, If you know me I love VINTAGE. Seen this gem & I had to have it, who needs two kidneys aye
This is my oldest 🇬🇧 SILVER BULLION bar which was born in London in the 60s, Father - Johnson Matthey - Mother (UNKNOWN). Comes in It’s original old wooden crate dated 1968, Folk this is over half a century old 🙌

but I did manage to pick it up just below spot....
and it's gold....
and it's nice and shiny....

I hope @SILVERFINGER will be pleased to hear i've been a busy buyer recently and hope to redeem myself and share some more purchases later in the month (once they all arrive from accross the globe!).
In the meantime, i couldn't not share my appreciation to @Alun for this absolutely incredible piece of craftmanship. You sir are an absolute genius and i look forward to filling this beauty over the coming months and years. Free goldback from upma.org. If I did the maths right it equals to about £1.19 worth of gold on this so not much but I still think it's neat. It's slightly smaller than a £5 note.

Adding to my 1887 collection. I like this year because it was Sherlock Holmes' first year.
My first ever full sovereign, though I had a 1/2 graded MS 61.
I think the Crown is MS 61. I had a Crown MS 63 that was similar wear. I'll regrade that.
The Penny might be AU-55 or maybe MS 61 on a good day. The sail boat has nice detail. Not bad for a raw penny.
