Well good day  today! My secret Santa from @BackyardBullion arrived! 3.92 oz of hand poured loveliness! 
 

Last nights poker game couldn’t have gone much worse- was £400 down and had to walk away. Luckily placing my last 50 on a 3card poker game yielded a surprisingly decent straight flush which paid out my losses and then some! Hightailed it out and this morning picked up these beauties. 

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas... A few packages arrived today.

Just realised that whilst opening this package, I wasn’t trembling with fear as to what the quality was going to be like..one thing about the Perth Mint..they do get it right most of the time. Two Kooks to keep my collection up to date.

From a hoard of recently discovered 1966 dated Sovs these are pretty mint definitely some of the best bullion sovs I have handled

This is not really something I received today, but I thought I could post a picture of the coin which started my love for silver. ☺️

My 6 coin gold proof set Britannia 2014 is now at home. I was so fortunate  to get this rare set and moreover, it was a really great, nice  and straightforward deal with  @gizmo1947, thanks to him. 
This set now joins my other  beautiful 3 gold coin premium set, I bought a few months ago, thanks to @Numistacker , and my silver coins.
Now I just miss the 5oz Gold  (with a low premium of course !)
Did I say that I love these 2014 Britannia ?

Today I picked up a 2019 half sovereign, an 1826 shilling along with the 1900 silver crown. My local dealer threw in the 1912 penny for free that appears to have been silver plated as he didn't know what to do with it.
