depending on when you paid this should help https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/visa-mastercard-chargeback/
  5. three legs, 5 thumbs, 4 kidneys and all three of your eyes for the base level. once you get to diamond, you need more relatives / victims 🤣
  6. would not surprise me. they bumped a few prices of other stuff they still had in stock. including the 1oz silver which you can still buy from RM ( awaiting stock but not sold out )
  7. still showing on main page as 2 available but sold out when trying to add to basket.
  8. putting my cynical hat on, they have done the different designs to encourage folk buy one of each. otherwise, if they were all the same design, they would just buy one. Of those, I think the £5 is the best of the bunch, but since I am not really bothered about £5 coins I might pop on at lunch and see about the 1oz. But then, the £5 is a 2oz silver proof. But then I think the 1 and 2oz proofs have been overpriced for RM for the last few releases. but how many coronations will I ever be able to see and buy a coin for? But do I wait a couple of months and see the price drop once the flippers have had their fun? but when would i get it from RM - December? decisions, decisions.......... More buts than a glen of but n bens there! 😁 Would I be right in thinking that with those mintages for the 1 and 2 oz silver, that there is not a great chance of an upside in the next few years? ( not interested in flipping but just asking from curiosity if i buy )
  9. 1 month? PAH! thats not a backlog. In my work realm, our ombudsman is working on about a 9 month backlog. ( though they do somehow work some cases faster than others, so might be doing some triaging )
  10. checked at lunchtime just out of curiosity and it was £407. now its £409 and out of stock
  11. yes but look at the patina. brand new ones just dont look the same 🤣
  12. here you go https://www.changerange.net/2pound.htm it also shows other circulating mintages
  13. if you want to overpay, RM have several sets for sale. https://www.royalmint.com/shop/new/
  14. i'll take this as well. of course as you are sending only one package, any volume discount would be welcome
  15. what you going to do with your extra 0.00000001g each month? 😝
  16. no idea about international shipping but got mine today. from what i can see no imperfections. but it does have that felt inside where the coin is nestled so you need to wipe the capsules of the small black hairs. also there is no number on the coa. wonder if thats the same for the other memorial coins, i cant remember.
  17. throwing another hand grenade into the discussion. hmrc might argue a mass produced coin ie bullion brit isnt a "collectors' pieces of numismatic interest" But then we have seen an error rotation brit being discovered, which most would strongly argue as numismatic. So then the question is, if we buy them in sealed tubes, how can we tell if they are errors or not? Schrödinger’s Coin 🤣
  18. Hi Just noticed this thread. There are a few of us on here who do collect "normal" coins so just from a quick glance there are some for example that I would buy, and some I would not. it would be the same with the others who are interested on here. Some of the coins are not worth a huge amount but if you have someone who needs that particular one to complete a run then you would get a better price I would disagree with teatime above who said they could only be face value or up to £12. The Brunel £2 fdc went for £20 alone on ebay a few weeks ago. The questions you need to ask are do you really not want to keep them? then its a question of time vs money. how much time do you want to reasearch their value vs how much you need the money now. sell them all quickly at a lower price ie at auction, sell them higher in bulk here, at a slighly higher price in smaller blocks here but risk not everything selling, selling them individually for the best price but taking the longest. to be honest, unless you need the money, take the time and dont make a hastie decision. you say you inherited the coins but not if he specifically left them to you or others in the family thought you were into coins so you got them. either way, each time you look at them they will hopefully give you good memories of him. ( and yes, I recently lost someone close ) and collecting coins from your change is cheaper than silver and gold!
  19. and finally i have got an email to say the piedfort 50p is ready to be sent but, its its been so long since the order i have to give my payment details again. DOH! but hopefully that means that they have now been minted and are ready to go after a proper (cough) QC check. wish me luck!
  20. chinese complaining about inferior products. have they looked at wish.com? oh the brass neck! ( in this case silver and copper 🤣 )
