After another week of waiting for them to respond, The Royal Mint eventually said that I could return my coin to have it re-packaged (presumably the correct way round!)
Just getting this far has taken up a couple of hours of my time, but they haven't offered to do anything to make up for that. Do you think they should?
I'd say so yes if they value your custom and want your business in the future.
RM wasted so much of my time and ended up compensating me with about £200 of coins

As you may have seen in another thread, I bought a Trial of the Pyx coin last week - one of only ten to be returned from the trial! Due to an evident lack of care at their end, they installed it wrong-face-up in its tamper-evident display card, so I asked them what they could do about it.
One week later...
The Royal Mint has eventually responded to my email. They have apologised for the way my item has arrived, but because the item is no longer available, all I can do is return it for a refund.
I am far from impressed.
Royal mint are beyond useless one of the worst company's I've dealt with. I will never give a penny to them again

I had a pocket piece an 1888 Morgan was in decent condition as well. Liked the fill of it in hand. One day had it in my hand and I really don't know how it happened but it flew out of my hand and went straight down a drain 🙄 didn't bounce just straight down. Gone forever 😰😰😓😖

Hi guys
Funny I was going to come back to this thread as I've only just got round to doing something with the coin.
I email pictures to Salisbury coins who have sold this exact coin in the past and they came back and said it's was a copy.
Still a strange thing to find in a car park and it looks and feels very real to me. Would have like to get it looked up by someone in hand but I spose the people at Salisbury coins know what there talking about. I'll just put it with the collection of copy's I've ended up with over the years lol

Tell us all 🍿
If I get a spare 2 hrs I'll share it with everyone. Only thing I can say in short is the RM is the worst company I've ever dealt with even right up to high up management even those people were just as incompetent as the kids answering the phones 😐

I do at this point have to say how happy I am to be a member of this forum were we talk with a great deal of respect about BTC and Gold without resorting to personal insults or criticism of each others approach.
I occasionally check what is being discussed on twitter with respect to Gold and BTC and to call it a sewer would be generous.
Fights about BTC being the “new gold”, endless people telling those who don’t hold BTC “enjoy being poor”. Calling people who don’t hold BTC “******* peasants”.
I shut down Twitter quickly, disgusted and click back to TSF.

I think this is just all social media now days where no one is allowed there own opinion with out getting jumped on by people feeling brave behind there phones. It's very sad really and I distance myself from social media now days

I would recommend looking into Quant & ADA. However I’m not a financial advisor so make sure you do your own research 🧐
Thanks I'll have a look into that
