OK, we have the bars back from the assay office!
So, they will be winging their way around the country over the next few weeks and we will then be in a position to name a date for the draw to happen.
In the meantime I want to get the entries rolling in so that every few days we can make a nice big donation to The Red Cross

We are going to limit one prize per person to get as many winners as possible.
Winners will not have to pay for any postage/shipping
Winners will, however, be responsible for any import charges for delivery to their home country. 
DRAW DATES
At this time we do not have a specific time for entries to close by and the draw date to happen. 
My best estimate is that we will be able to draw the winners in week commencing 11th April 2022.
As soon as we have firm dates set for this we will communicate out here on the forum.
But I felt it would be a good idea to get the entries rolling in so that we can make donations every other day to The Red Cross sooner rather than later.

I will be hosting a livestream on YouTube to draw the results using a random number generator. Exact details of this selection process will be shared in due course.

The 8.69oz BYB vault bar arrived today. I have been quite excited about this arriving. Laser hallmarked with a shiny top. Many thanks @BackyardBullion Worth the wait!

Got my first considerable chunk of gold yesterday. Nothing special, but I think I'm in love.

I suspect it's totally random during the minting process of 27 million coins! 

@DuncanWylieWilson might have some further info or know where to look.

Often older catalogues contained very few photographs (especially the further you go back in time).  We are so lucky in this digital age that we have access to so many photographs of coins old and new.

Hello I'm a Stacker and Collector from the Channel Islands I adore Gold and silver and of course some Platinum, I have been stacking and collecting for nearly 4 years now.
Previously I was into buying & collecting gemstones from auctions which I did for about a year and a bit it, which I still have.
I have always been fascinated by how the earth has so many amazing minerals which we can mine ourselves, the geological history of the earth really facinates me.
All I watch on YouTube is anything related with Gold, Silver, Mining shows, Prospectors, Podcasts & Financial Videos 😂 
I am also a volunteer Acheologist 
I have very little confidence so I don't have a youtube or anything 😄 but I have an instergram page @Guernsey_Bullion_Stacker. If you would like to follow me that would be awesome.. my goal is to hopefully get to the stage where i can start making content on diffrent platforms.
I am also aiming in the future to open up my own Bullion & Collectables Buisness in the Channel Islands with my partner and not just buy and sell bullion but also help people get a better understanding about gold and silver.
