Arshi's and Atkinsons's order just been delivered

The Somalian elephant really is a nice coin in the flesh.

Have a rare opportunity tomorrow, the wife is taking my daughter to the cinema to see snoopy and I am off work so that gives me 2 hours peace and quiet so Ill have a go at knocking something up.

Dont expect anything flash, ive just made the switch from windows to linux mint so finding my feet.

Not posted much recently as ive just been buying sovs and we all know what they look like

Just had a little post Xmas and birthday splurge (40th bday on boxing day) and grabbed the pre owned 2015 Somalian elephant, a 1/10th lunar monkey to bring the set up to date and another sov from Atkinsons.

Should be shipped on Tuesday so will post some pics up on Wednesday when they arrive.

Looking forward to seeing that elephant in the flesh.

Might possibly be placing a large order in the next couple of weeks so may be some gold porn coming shortly

The 3 sovs from arshimo2012 have arrived, all in nice condition.

Have quite a few sovs now, anyone else tried a full date run lol.

Had a nice 1915 sov delivered today from HGM.

Im in the pm game for the long haul so a jump up or down a few quid is irrelevant

Cant find any of the usual suspects selling the 20 pesos at the moment.

There are a few on ebay going for around £400, most from US but you may get hit with import duty on top.

A couple of Quintuple sovs (£5 coins) are about 1.2 troy oz, a Mexican 50 peso is also about 1.2 troy oz.

The 4 ducat looks just as big but are very thin.

These rest are 1oz with the 100 coronas and St Gaudens slightly under the 1oz

Just did the new kitchen thing, crippled the wallet.

Dont have to look at it again for another decade now though

I like the Ducats but my favs are defo the 50 & 20 Mexican peso, the Mayan calendar on the 20 peso is amazing.

The Metalor bars are 100g, the Perth Mint Oriana bars, Degussa bars and  Polska Mint bars are all 10g

St Gaudens just got delivered -

Just picked up a St Gaudens that popped up on Hatton Gardens @ 3% over spot, excited about this one wanted one a long time

Defo a potentially sackable offense if the postman signs for a customers item, the PDA also records the GPS location of the signature so it can be checked it was signed for at the delivery point.

The postman is correct, the contract is with the sender and if the item is not received they must submit claim for loss.

This week is also "dog awareness week" so a postman opening sliding doors to deliver items with dogs on the premises is not a good start, they are only supposed to deliver mail to the first point of deliver, if that fails there is a big drive on deliver to neighbour and if that fails a P739 card to collect item.
