BBP has got loads of 2018 dog privy Brittanias in (1000+ yesterday) for £35 Inc VAT. I'm guessing the market for them being 'rare has gone as they have so many but if anybody needs one to complete a run without paying silly money for them they're available 👍

I like to think that you could have bought half the same bar in silver for the same price before 2004!
My maths is not great but thats £30 kg to £895 kg in 6 years.
One off I am not so sure given the cycle & demand vs supply going forward.
You could have bought almost 2 x 5kg for the same price not long ago.
    Thats impressive growth in price.

They ended up sending a Geiger bar after all 🤷‍♂️ looks nice (shame it's not gold 🤣) Won't be making it a habit at those prices though.

I agree, Copper prices are in the rise but Spot wont get to Geiger Copper bar level for a long time. But they are nice to have as a premium product.
I also have high hopes for Aluminium.

I think stacking copper is no bad thing.  Especially if...
    (1) You can pick it up for free / recover it for free
    (2) You are on a budget
Stacking metals can be done even if you are on a tight budget.  Its a little like the guys in Youtube who get bags of 50p's from the bank, select out the interesting ones and return the rest.  Good and cheap way into stacking / collecting.

I bought mine a while back when the price was better but just recently bought the 2 & 5oz bars as these were only introduced last year. I know what you mean about the prices but I wanted to complete my copper pyramid stack.

Today I received my first ever Umicore bar from a terrific new member, @SilverTalent
As with all my purchases, I tested with my trusty Sigma Metalytics Verifier and it came up perfect! I only mention that here as Mr Talent is currently building a solid reputation on the forum and I wanted to help by highlighting the quality of the item.
An absolutely gorgeous piece from a great seller.

I paid £33 a KG but that was a 5oz and not Geiger so I would say thats fair given the spot.
I know you can get cheap cast copper bars (probably made by some skint plumber) but I do like the official ones.
Especially if the price doubles or quadruples in the coming years.

The spot has dropped but is maintaining sideways nicely so it could go up again soon.
Having said that stimulus in the us has started to be given now, dont know if that will affect things.

Im hoping people loose interest in commodities and go back to tech, so I can get some bargains!!

I never got calls from them but did get flooded with the postal ‘offers’ at least two a week despite ticking the no marketing preference on the website. Called and emailed asking them to stop, they even tracked me when I moved house and started sending junk there! Only a final written gdpr letter got them to stop. I agree with Roy it’s not worth it for £11. The junk mail wouldn’t be half as bad if it didn’t basically advertise what you’d been buying
