Looking at a couple of coin groups on ye olde Facebook, it looks like the 5oz and 2oz gold are coming via DHL. I’m guessing us 2oz silver ‘peasants’ will get Royal Mail?

oh god can you imagine
"Hi, yeah... so.... i received my coin from you today. im not sure if its a production issue or not but it was soaking wet and scratched all over! I did find the coin thrown over the fence into my neighbours pond, the capsule was open and a local heron was pecking at it. I suspect its a manufacturing defect with all the marks on it, so could you send me a replacement please."

Amazing. Any information on when it will be shipped?

Our friends at Britannia Coin Company have the exclusive rights to the 1 Kilo silver, apart from a few available (ahem) direct from the Mint.
Slightly odd, as they insisted they weren’t a Royal Mint partner when questioned about their pricing for the 2 oz silver.

I am also in the closed order category.
Money still taken from account, but no dispatch email.
Dear lord this is going to be a rollercoaster.
I feel like a VLOG series, "a day in the life of a three graces owner" would be a winner

You are quite right. You did say "they deserve a lot of credit"
I'll go to £1,000 - Is that any better?

Both you and @jultorsk are correct. Personally I mash my F5 key with a potato masher.
(Ah the memes we could make)

Just preference. Personally I just run a Chrome extension and set my refresh period 😂

The four week rule is inline with other orders I’ve placed before. The last one was a four week wait and it was shipped within the same week.

Dunno about you, but I'm still waiting in the queue.

I think a lot of it comes to the investment in the backend for this type of situation. Generally a sellout coin at this rate is not the norm for the RM, so they’ve not likely invested in the dev time required to solve this issue. It takes a lot of development and extremely fast gateways and hardware to handle transactions like this.

From all the discord groups I’m in that follow for Amazon, I still find it interesting to see how it works for GPUs. Amazon will list as per-order. Then they instantly sell out, due to automated bots buying and because of the refund system being so easy, if it’s too expensive the buyer will refund and it will be instantly snapped up by the next quickest bot scalper until someone finally decides to keep it. All the while I can see the notifications of stock coming in and out.

100% that there’s bots doing some of this. You just have to look at all the Reddit threads and people paying for developers to create bypass software.
I’m no expert on all of this, but I did write my own script to check Nvidia’s API so I could get a heads up on the latest RTX 3080 GPU and even after weeks it was luck that I got one. But breaking though Queue It is another level, and scalping is just disgusting.
I was amazing with how many scripts you could download and run that just essentially ‘auto buy’ products for certain websites for you and even bypass recaptcha.
I personally think flippers, or the more appropriate name of scalpers must exist for RM purchases and I’m actually surprised there isn’t more with the premiums to be made.

A good few come to mind if you happen to be looking for a graphics card at the moment. Currys is one of the worst, and they don’t refund you for 5 days.
