Received these back during the week and thought id share before they went to the safe. Both beautiful in their own way, but the Unite is very pleasing. Sorry about the cropped photos of it, it is at the extremes of my lens and it was that or a blurry photo. Important coins from a short and interesting part of British history

We used to keep a "secret stash" of 1957 and 1989 sovereigns, 1962 is the next scarcest of the first portrait sovereigns, with the exception of 1953, and I have only seen 2 of those.
Someone just asked me to grade our stock of better 1899-S Sydney mint sovereigns:

1+6+12=19 makes for a nice symmetrical arrangement.

1860 Shield Sovereigns

I was supposed to be grading these to go on sale, but we photographed them instead.

4 x 5 = 20 It's nice when they fit in a neat grid pattern.

A nice little bunch arrived today from @argentiumastrum

I have previously picked up this beautiful Guardian Lions Double Pixiu coin. I had to pick this coin up because of the symbolism of attracting and protecting wealth. I started buying precious metals as a hedge against inflation so I am hoping this coin will protect me against the devaluation of fiat!

A 1oz Gold Queens Beast Completer 

A 1913 Canadian ten dollar in PCGS MS65, mintage 149,232 pieces, although a lot have been melted.

Not in hand yet but had some great news from @CoinsOfTheRealmAuctions.

My 2021 Double Sovereign.................Bought this simply because I think it's a beauty. Even got some free tea!
Only 50 minted, it has the original inscription as the original 1489 Sovereign. 

Consecutive number 3 coin 2005 Brit set. Very lucky to get top grade on all these coins and big thanks to @Clockpuncher for his help in sourcing.
