The Jubilee Sovereign – Yes!

The Memorial Sovereign – Yes!

The Charles III Coronation Sovereign – Sorry no I’m just not interested in this one at all. I’ll be buying regular 'best value' Sovereigns from now on.

I dont get how they haven't got a fixed price more for the blisters

It's kind of added built in authentication, mint sealed tamper evident packing.

Takes up too much air space/real estate in safe deposit box though :(

I think it can only be this coin…

image.thumb.jpeg.8ef8d2e6e12f4f89a6ad81e7fbae40bd.jpeg… as the circumscription states “5 POUNDS”…

image.jpeg.08cfc7d4f6d40b4c25e096a680866399.jpeg

… and the Ounce design only had the following gold denominations (as far as I know).

- 1/40 oz is 50 Pence

- 1/4 oz is 25 Pounds

- 1 oz is 100 Pounds

- 2 oz is 200 Pounds

And they go higher from there.

The Matte Proof was a 2 oz coin and its denomination is 200 Pounds.

I don’t think the 5 Pounds coin with the St. Edward’s Crown and the sceptres was ever released in a matte proof version or we’d have heard of it here.😀

That coin looks a little bit Nazi to me with what looks similar the Reichsadler eagle and the German Airforce symbols.

Yup. Who'd ever have thought in this modern world we'd pay rental to house what Cornflakes come wrapped in.

Anyone know when the 2oz silvers ship?  Pre-ordered on BBP but not heard any news yet.

The last I heard, dealers were hoping to have all the silver coins done within the next couple of weeks. Royal Mint only said May though in estimates, so it's tough to say. They seem more on top of it though than the Memorial coins so I'd say you've a good chance of it being before William takes the throne 🤞

The proofs haven't come out yet so that is pretty impressive 😆

I received an email today telling me that my order has been dispatched

For those who've ordered a SOTD Sov I'm interested what your plans are if the coin has imperfections? Do you plan to return it given you'll no longer have a SOTD Sovereign, or do you accept the imperfections?

It'll still be worth more than you payed even with imperfections.

Unless it looks like it's been bombed, cut in half, welded back together and stabbed precisely 47 times. Which isn't impossible knowing RM standards.

Like it's been held captive by the taliban for 20 years.

I'm surprised they don't try to charge more for "added character"

The Royal Mint special edition luster.

We carefully hand polish every coin with a chainsaw

Now at only 195% premium

I was doing a Blackadder reference, but yes, I totally agree with you. I've just received 10x 1oz silver KCIII Britannias and all have scratches on the King's cheek. If I were NGC I would have called them "Improperly Cleaned".

Meanwhile my gold Charles I, Henry VIII and Bull have all been rejected by my dealer as there are scratches/missing frost/finger print/big pieces of debris inside of capsule etc. Totally unacceptable given they could pump hundreds of pre-graded PF70 to some American site yet struggle to do basic QC for their actual customers. They just don't seem to care.
