Royal Mint Website in Meltdown!

Recommended Posts

I wastrying to log in to check on an order and i was 3876th in the queue! I reckon they'll have a busy couple of days and sell pretty  much everything in sight.

I enquired (yesterday) about a proof that i ordered a month ago and was told that there was a shortage of silver so it would be delayed. I'm sure my wait has just got longer, but hope that my Queens Reign coin eventually arrives.

See tomorrow what these dealers who are currently out of stock try to sell the sovereigns for? But … hey ho, people will snap them up regardless!🤔

These coins will be around just like every other sovereign from the past,So can't see them staying high if they do that.

Quite the 'cunning plan' to downplay the relevance of the 2022 sovs... Hmmm... :D

I had a nosey and it seems that the jubilee 50p and £5 in cupronickel are 3 month waits for delivery. Assuming they weren't that prior to today, I imagine the high queue numbers may have been people who don't typically collect either having the notion to get something commemorative that is official (a Royal Mint coin), or trying to make a quick quid in turning them around?
