An attractive uncirculated example of the first date in this short, low mintage series. 

The largest denomination produced by the Latin Monetary Union, this big gold coin has a denomination of 100 Francs and is comprised of 32.2581 g of .900 gold and has a diameter of 35 mm.

Not one which comes up often and certainly not in the UK. A must-have for any world gold coin enthusiast or collector of all things LMU!
