London Coin Fair

Went to the London Coin Fair yesterday at Holiday Inn, Russell Square.

No pre-registering required.

No registering on the day required.

No plastic screens to be seen anywhere.

Masks optional but I actually saw very few.

There were fewer dealers there and less people in general.

It was nice to see people behaving like human beings again and not skirting round each other like they are radioactive.

Well done to the organisers.

Sadly, I had other commitments, but it’s a genuinely interesting event.  

Lots of dealers, something for everyone at every price point. 

I am glad to hear it is getting back to normal.

So the London coin fair is coming up on the 5th Feb, I’ve checked the website and it says there is no registration, so I am right in thinking you can just turn up and pay on the door?

Last time I went you just turn up and it was a £5 on the door.

Ideally better to turn up in the morning, as by early afternoon it does tend to quieten up quickly and dealers start to pack thier stuff away.

Yh I would say so. Just give a bit of time for the dealers to unpack and display their items. 

I would say between 08.30 and 09.30 is a sweet spot.

I'm happy to of found this thread. I've never been to a coin fair before so now I can see when and where they are I'll try and make one sometime this year. It won't be this one but hopefully I can make the next. Did I see somewhere they do 4 a year in London?
