When the likes of the S&P500 collapses (I firmly believe it will because it makes absolutely no sense that it's been bulling with only 7 out of 500 companies actually doing well) - then people need to turn somewhere. Do they trust the government - bonds/treasuries...? Many will empty their shares accounts and turn to gold. They'll be paying way above these prices eventually.

We also have the likes of Tik Tok brainwashing. It may end up working in our favour if the kids start collecting silver coins or something. Could start a craze which would make a nice change from the usual unicorns and rainbows that they are brainwashed with.
