The Bank of International Settlements has its options expiry tomorrow and these are underwater. We have roll over of December contracts as well so there are the usual centrally organised sell orders to suppress price.

If you care about what others think of you, then you will always be their slave.

I see it as a last call to accumulate cheaper silver. I'm 44 and my horizon is retirement. I don't think this QE and debt nonsense masquerade can stand 20 years. Patience.

I took advantage of the low spot and put my first order in with Goldsilver.Be, got myself 50 2018 Britannia’s and a few of the Brexit Britannia’s. I have heard mixed things about the site but here's hoping it all goes smoothly for me. :-D

Are you in the UK? If so how long did it take to arrive ?

@BackyardBullion Does group orders from GSbe for many UK forum members. He might be the man to ask about their shipping times, and possibly join a future cheaper-shipping bulk order.

Gold is seasonally weak in Nov-Dec and stronger in Jan-Feb. Indian wedding season and Chinese new year play a part. If the previous two years are a guide, there will be a "sell the rumour buy the fact" event in which traders sell in anticipation of a Fed rate rise and then buy when the rise is announced.

So basically everything I was going to buy in Jan-Feb I should buy before Christmas, then maintain discipline. Sounds easy. ;)

This time next year you'll have spent up to 2023! :P

@mr-dead says my new half krug is too shiny, so now I have to buy another one to compare! Well while they are cheap eh. :)

I would have thought 3 or 4 from different sources just to be sure.

Just looked at the @BackyardBullion vid with his Krugs and they are shiny like mine so not worried now. Buying more sounds like fun though. ;)

I wish it would so I can buy more.  But I doubt it will go much lower

silver now under £12, gold £935, looks like it may drop below £900

Wow.

Surely gold can't/won't be allowed to go under £900 (unless very major plays are coming this year).

Any thoughts @sixgun?
