The Maple 1/4 oz is 1986.
Philharmonics are from 2005
Pandas: 1987 {S}, 1988, 1989, and 1988. The 88's look a bit different on the Panda side; the background is intentionally made sort of dull or burnished-looking. You need to be a fan and have good eyes to love them!

There were 5 Philharmonic. And some silver bars. And to make the order even the 4 1/20 oz Pandas and the 1/4 oz Maple and the silver were thrown in at spot. Even with magnifier, you can barely read the Pandas. I think I'm going to trade those for a 1/4 oz coin LOL. I like this design on silver bars. Silvertown makes them.

Just a guess; looks like an import mark. Import marks required .925 starting in 1904.
The CAC looks like C&C to me. It is worn down low, obscuring some of the A or &. If C&C, then that mark looks like Cohen & Charles. So it is possible it was imported from foreign source by Albert Cohen & Charles Soloman between 1904 and 1958; after 1958 C&C was sold to Rose.
The date mark would be the L looking one. London had such a mark in 1926. Even the box outline around the L looks similar to 1926.
The * sort of mark could be assay or maker. It appears assay because there are others marked at London like it in 1925 and 1926.
They dropped the handy F for foreign mark in 1904.

It doesn't get much better when the postman brings shiny things two days in a row!
I only received my first ever piece of gold yesterday to add to my stack and today saw a second piece of gold arrive to keep it company.
My 1/4 oz Gold Standard is joined by a stunning 1/4 oz Lion of England this time courtesy of @arshimo2012, who is an absolute gent it must be said.
Am I being swayed towards the yellow stuff from my beloved silver.....still not sure yet......not quite the same heft holding a 1/4oz of gold by comparison to say 20oz of silver......messes with the head a little! Time will tell.
Just need to find a good quality capsule for the wee Lion and I think I could do with finding a good quality monster box to start keeping everything together too.
Also please note the impressive array of postage stamps.....made me smile 😊

10 $ 1893
Not the best grade and some copper spots on the reverse. I don't care, it's just nice bullion with history attached to it, for me. Less than one week from Germany to the UK!

Continuing on with the Prince Charles deliveries, this arrived today as well. 100g silver ingot of investiture 1st July 1969. Snapped it up on a facebook group at the weekend. I'm more of a Princess Dianna and Willam collector but respect to him when it comes to environment and conservation.

I have repatriated this 15th century treasure back to the UK from a superb US seller. The photos don’t do it any justice, its absolutely stunning and I’m very pleased!
For those interested, it is an Edward IV Gold Ryal or also called Rose Noble only minted between 1464 and 1470 and the year in that period identifiable by the mint mark in the legend, which on mine is a little difficult to ID but its a Long Cross Fitchée, if in any doubt (see the close up) there were no other crosses used in the period they were minted. This mark puts it as minted between 1469-1470, making it even rarer, only just before Henry VI was restored to the throne. On edwards second reign the mint started producing Angles which are entirely different design. The coin was minted in London, identifiable as no letter in the waves beneath the rose / kings vessel.
7.61grams of gold and approximately 35mm in diameter.
Side note: The coin was also imitated on the continent in the mint of Gorinchem for around 100yrs after this date (and also thought during Edwards exile in Belgium), these are often referred to as a “Flemish Ryal”. Identifiable if put alongside each an original, one difference being the continental copy is often slightly larger in diameter.
NB, if anyone is wondering what the lump of dirty metal is in some of the photos, its an original brass coin weight for the Ryal that I was able to pick up from someone that had found it in the Thames mud. It was only a few pounds but I though makes a nice collection.
hope you like as much as me 😁

NGC census update day provided me with some results for my growing 1977 collection... pretty happy with most of these - all went for NCS treatment. Random selection to show the diversity in shapes, sizes and designs;
Oh, and I have some before pics of the Bermuda coins prior to submission and NCS... check these out and how they look now!
