My daughter turns 16 in a few days.  She's mad about the classical world and civilisations and Romans and that sort of thing, and one day, wants to study or get a job related to that.  Anyhow, she was telling me all about the vicious life of one Emperor Caracalla who was known as Rome's ugliest Emperor and who, by all accounts lead a pretty brutal, miserable life, ( I had to google him!) and who, after murdering his mother and brother, was assassinated by a centurion.  She found this story hilarious for some reason.... So I was blown away when I managed to find this little beauty.  I keep looking at the CoA and shaking my head because I can't get my head round the fact that this little scrap of silver is 1800 years old!!  She's going to love it.  Can's wait to see her face when she realises who's scowling, grumpy head is on this coin!!

And picking up from where @SilverMike left off- a reasonable condition 1921 México 50 Centavos for less than a tenner landed 😃 I’m not sure I have the stomach to pay down for the smaller 1921 Bronze denominations. 

That concludes my 2oz silver Queen’s Beast collection 😊

The full Germania Mint Fafnir collection thanks to @Panda6Pack, again he has managed to source amazing pieces for me. This has to be the most awesome set I own, truly stunning, will need to practice my picture taking as @Jamesd does the 2oz version a lot more justice (further up the page) than my piss poor pics!

i will be honest this is purley a speculative purchase, for a quick flip if there is demand with it been a low mintage so i can make a bit of brass 😀, first time trying this what you think?, so if it has no demand it can go in the stack/ safe.👍

The last four coins in my Aussie Lunar2 series finally turned up. All the collections I set out to complete back in May when I was scouring the net (and found TSF) are ticked; so I’m pretty pleased to achieve it in around 4 months.

Received the 2021 1/4 oz Gold Queen’s Beast White Greyhound of Richmond Proof. Let’s just say the quality is slightly above par from what will be presented next...
