Couple of recent arrivals:
1. 1912 Bulgarian 20 Leva. Interestingly, the coin is dated in the Julian calendar and has both 1908 and 1912 dates on it. My pictures dont do this one justice. Its fantastic, with full lustre. Just a beautiful piece. Its courtesy of a forum member but as they didnt have a sale post, I'm not naming them here on the off-chance they wish to remain private. But its a splendid coin and they should be proud of its quality despite moving on to other collecting endeavours!
2. A simple Victoria jubilee 1/2 crown. Not a rare piece, but a really nice example of the type that I came across last week at a coin shop. As this weekend was a holiday long weekend (Victoria Day) in Canada, I felt compelled to buy it. A nice 150 year old silver piece with fantastic mint lustre on it, no cleaning.

Got this stunner of a coin from @BleyerBullionfor a very reasonable price.

Notice some old silver coins in my local antique shop. Wondering if these are good prices? Seems high to me though, the crown 1937 looks in good nick but charging £30 each.

The only coin I think I'd struggle to let go of is my first ever silver Canadian Voyageur Dollar. The Voyageur Dollar was the first coin I ever loved upon setting eyes on it. I was a child and once I was old enough to start getting into the hobby it was among the first coins I purchased. It doesn't have much value - £11 or £12 with current silver prices - and at this point I have dozens of them but that first silver one is just special. If life pans out the way I've imagined it'll probably be the only bit of silver I have left when my time is up.

My youngest daughter saw the light - she is now investing in the metals.

On and to answer the original question. I don't think I'll ever stop buying. I've still got near 30 years until I retire. So I'll buy Ag and Au until then. I'll ease off though if the prices go truly parabolic.

If things go well for me yes, I will retire earlier. likewise I'm not letting the gov dictate to me either. That wasn't my intended meaning in my writings.
Life has a funny way of dealing the cards sometimes. 
I've always been a manual worker , 20 + years in that game and my body is telling me to ease up.
Hence why one of my strings is into PM's . 
The gov can go suck a nut 🙂

Been a bit selective lately trying to keep the premium stuff when I get it cheap. This poor 1937 half sov has seen better days, but good enough as a filler.

Not to everyone’s taste but I could not resist picking this up made in 999 silver. Fully functional 

Finally the Eagle has landed or should I say the Rooster. A massive 1 kg Lunar Rooster. Just a really awesome beast of a coin. This is the end of a long on/off journey covering 3 years and completes the final piece of the whole series of plain silver 2005 Perth Mint Lunar Roosters. 1 kilo, 1/2 kilo, 10 oz, 5 oz, 2oz, 1 oz and 1/2 oz and and just over 2 kilos in weight. 
Time to start saving for the gold set now 😀

Decline anything they try to sell you. Much like Westminster Collection, CPM Coins and no doubt others out there Harrington and Byrne make their money charging unsuspecting people absolutely rediculous premiums for stuff that will never be worth what they're selling them for. They all throw out decent offers like this every now and then but its their version of fishing...  dangle the cheap bullion in the hopes of catching a much bigger, much more profitable sale. Buy the bullion but walk away from anything else.
