For Platinum, perhaps call it the PGM section to fill it up a bit?

This was all predictable and logical really. From what I has hearing the vast majority of the Arms coins were sold with continuity and most of the ones who missed that option were on to the Mint about changing as soon as they realised.
Then we started hearing about the Mint emailing buyers of the Arms, the ones who presumably hadn't taken up the continuity, offering them the Portrait.
Result, all allocated before release.😁

Gold/Platinum Premium Membership would also give you a licence to list items for sale commercially as well as have a link to your website in your forum signature, we also encourage you to fully disclose your relationship to the business within your forum signature.

It would be much tidier and more consistent to follow the discussion section, yes.

I'd support that, but I think you'd be making a rod for your own back.

I've reported dubious coins to @ChrisSilver and the moderator team before and the sales posts have been hidden pending the seller's response. The system works well.
Remember, the admin team are enthusiasts, not experts, as are the sellers. I'm sure there is no malice involved, it's easy to make mistakes.
It's how the mistakes are rectified that matters. As Steve said,
That's what makes this forum the best.
 
As for the 'other' problem,
I completely agree, it's annoying. 

But wait...
Duncan is now a platinum business seller, his listings are comprehensive, well written, with great photos, specifications and reasonably priced. He's an asset to the forum as his many customers will testify.
Perhaps, and it's only a suggestion, he should have a dealer sub-forum or indeed become a forum sponsor? He needs his own space!

I had just started out then, so I post only to be corrected It was PCGS as well as NGC. I don't know if and to what extent the error 'proof' certificates from the Mint played a part. But I believe it was the first 'huge' SotD (and certainly still a - if not the - very noteworthy one) they both received for grading. It was and is prooflike, it's stunning (as I'm sure you know) - like many of the subsequent SotDs.
The very strange bit came when people questioned/tried to correct them, and then the Mint issued the 'please send back your error certificates for exchange - it's not a Proof'. They both still stuck to their guns for a while with their proof designation.
As I've said, someone recently said on here that another (subsequent) SotD was given a PF designation, but I've never seen one or heard of that before.

I can't quite recall the official 'excuse' but when you have the coin in hand, you might think it's a proof.
 

I can walk it to NGC London to consign myself, but I think you're right Roy. Always worth pondering on and reassessing your collection/pieces from time to time though!
A different subject really but I do have a few coins for grading. With all the uncertainty in the world right now though, I am keeping them where they are until steadier days, better safe than sorry atm imo.
It's such a stunning coin, and I do love my PCGS holder and all the story that goes with it - the whole bundle. I don't think it'd be the same in a new slab. 69 or 70 doesn't matter to me and it's never leaving my collection anyway
Some of us say 'buy the coin and not the holder' often. I've realised now that I don't simply enjoy my coins often enough. I am not grateful enough for what I have. I shall aim to both enjoy them and be appreciative more

I'd leave it as is @kimchi, the risks are low but it could go missing/stolen etc.

Congrats to those who procured a coin and commiserations to those who didn’t yet wanted one. I think many of these coins will be squirreled away for years after the initial period of profit taking is over.

For any poor man who missed out I have an even better coin for sale the 2022 proof sovereign 😂 Its an even better strike and costs less than what you missed today.

There have been quite a few now, but not too many to spend a day or two researching which are which, what the differences are, and which ones you think are key (or may be key) in future. Also, of course, which ones might be a good investment going forward (you will get differing opinions on this)!

Mine is a PCGS PF69 which would easily cross at 70, but then I'd lose the PF. However if it's one of only a handful in an MS (and I still have the error cert)...🤔
