1000ozs

Decided to photograph my whole 1967 collection (well, about 90% of it actually...) with the start of the new year. Let's see what additions will come by the end of 2020. 🧐
 

My gold and my 10oz silver bars. Will compare this time next years. Should be a good chunk more gold in there

When I started in this forum a year ago (just now returning after hiatus), I had 1000 ozs stacked (hence the user name).  Guess I have to change my name now 1400+ ozs lol.

Visited my safety deposit box today and put the recently acquired Gold with the rest of the Gold stack. Don't visit Safety Deposit box that often maybe once a year and took opportunity to take some photos. Gold bullion occupying 25% space in the box the remainder family jewellery. Still enough room in the box to add another 40 oz Gold in Royal Mint tubes to finish off Queens Beasts series.

It's been just over a year for me. 280 oz of silver and about 20g of gold. A little too much variety in there so I will be trying to convert to more Brits at some point soon.
Big fan of the 10oz QB and the Komsco stuff.

One more pic since I'm on a roll.  I went through a phase of really liking the 10oz Scottsdale stackers. Was sort of like playing with a bunch of oversized lego bricks. Anyway, for people that want to see a bit more weight, here you go.

This pic is almost 3 years old now and well before I went bonkers on poured silver, but it's the best I can do since I'm too lazy to get everything together these days.

Vintage silver bars have outgrown the coin case so I sourced an old strong box for storage duties.

Recently come back from India and emptied a safety deposit box in India while I was there (no longer required). Managed to bring back into UK fair amount of gold without being questioned by customs. Visited Saint James in Manchester today to deposit some items and took opportunity photograph the family entire gold stack:

I have no idea how many oz gold is in jewellery form and 18 to 22 carat gold with some items having real diamonds. Best part of the gold stack Queens Beast bullion coins.

Six months stacking fortunate picked up most of the stack when spot prices much lower. Most of the jewellery purchased by my late dad when gold spot prices $250 oz.

Not much activity in this thread so thought I'd get things going again. I hope some long time members could post up their stacks as well 🙂
I collect only premiuim/date runs of Silver, and Gold Sovereigns (Proof & bullion).

Tried to get a decent full spread shot, like some of you guys manage to take, but failed miserably.
New camera for Christmas. 🤔

Update pic as have sold some silver and picked up some different silver and gold.  I dont plan to add anything else this year. (Hah, who am I kidding)

Here's pretty much my full stack as it currently stands.  Mostly gold, but with 30 oz of silver and 2 oz of platinum.
No more additions for me now until next year, when I aim to finish of the Queen's Beasts in 1/4 oz and 1 oz gold bullion and add a 2020 sovereign.  Anything else will be an impulse or value buy!
