Received my 2oz silver proof today. The coins outer box was torn and crushed and the capsule was half open with coin left rattling around. The only justification they have for such a high premium on the proof coins compared to other mints is quality which for this transaction is simply non existent. I'm not impressed.
Edit: the outer shipping box was fine. Whatever damage caused the problems described above happened prior to the coin being packed at the Royal Mint

Yes for sure. I am bitterly disapointed about this. Having had a further look now that the coin has come to room temperature it seems there are marks on the coin and the capsule doesn't even fit the coin properly. There is a massive gap along the bottom almost like it was made for a thinner coin. Its shocking quality for the price point.
For context I order fairly regularly from the Royal Canadian Mint since I have a Canadian address I can use for such and the current retail price for their 2oz silver proofs is CAD 199.95 or about £115.00.

Added 0 minutes later... My one is in a really badly fitting twist and lock type capsule.

A plea to you all: sit on your hands.
We stand on the breakout of what will very likely be one of the greatest bull markets of our lifetime. Think about what has happened over the last 10 years: unprecedented level of stimulus into a monetary system that is no longer fit for purpose. This is much worse than the abuse of the system that drove the prior PM bull markets of 1971-1980 and 1999-2011. 
The fallout from this crazy experiment will drive the price of gold by similar factors over the next decade, just as it did during the previous bull markets. Bull markets always run longer and further than nearly all their early adopters think is possible.
PMs will be valued many multiples higher in the years to come. Scoot on over to a "mainstream" investment site like MrMoneyMustache or MoneysavingExpert and gold doesn't even figure on the radar. They are ALL about passive index funds and chasing the stock market. They worship VTSAX. If you are lucky you might find someone holding 20% bonds. They won't even look at gold until it has at least doubled from current levels, and even then they will be some of the earlier adopters. 
There will come a time to sell your PMs and buy something that is better value, but that time is still years away. It will be when everyone thinks it is a good time to be overweight on gold, when Dow/Gold is somewhere between a half to a quarter of its current level.

Well a plane ticket is only £50 more so I will fly over and stay a couple days as I've heard the capital of Estonia is beautiful. I will be buying this silver for a personal investment so should I stay away from large bars and shots and stick to 1kg bars or buying 1oz coins.

If you wanted pure speculation and opinion from me - I don't think you'll have any troubles. There have been some absolutely massive group orders (well in excess of 7kg) placed from the European Mint that have been delivered to the UK without issue. I would think they are far more interested in people bringing back "excessive" amounts of tobacco than silver and I can't even begin to think how they would justify claiming an amount of silver is excessive for personal use. That being said unless you are hoping to make a holiday out of it as well I would look in to whether flying out there is really worth the cost/your time versus just ordering it online and having it delivered like many do.

Then another delivery again one I have been waiting for and so worth the wait

Three of my biggest weaknesses all on the same day - gold proof Britannia, silver proof £2 and Norfeds.

Thanks to @ilovesilverireallydo I today received four Peace Dollars and 10 lovely Kennedy Half Dollars. The jingle is mental. I’m probably going to be smiling all week wishing our fiat could at least equal the noise!!!!
