As it is the key date I just wondered what your 1836 coin looks like? I am trying to complete a slabbed set and I know that is going to be the hardest date to fill, I sold mine (nVF) ages ago and now regret it😟

This has been at Argos for days waiting for me to pick it up. Finally got off work early enough to grab it. 

Just to make it clear, Argos are not stocking Scottsdale bars lol. It was a eBay click and collect. 

Several buys of French junk silver lately and just halfway of my target of 400 oz by the end of the year.
 

An 1858 shield back half sovereign from my local bullion dealer in town. Her neck is scuffed but for the cheap price I'm not one to complain. Could have had a nice clean crisp QE2 but that wouldn't be as interesting.

1843/8 - Extremely rare, probably the rarest overdate in the shield sovereign series. In superb MS63 condition, an ex-Bentley coin so had to pick it up.
 

Thanks to Sören ( @muenzdachs ) for shipping these beautiful coins to me safely and securely using a decent tracked courier service- ordered with him late Monday over there in Germany and received today. Check out his website some fabulous coins there.

The group order and hand poured silver arrived safe and sound from @BackyardBullion today. The photos below for the hand poured silver don't do them justice they are truly spectacular pieces to hold in hand and a big thank you BYB for the time/energy/effort in creating them.

Vintage silver bars have outgrown the coin case so I sourced an old strong box for storage duties.

Received these today...a bit different.

After waiting two years .....I have eventually managed to buy a 2017 silver Krugerrand for under £30 inc postage...

I can’t remember how much these were at launch, but I do know I considered it way too much...2018 & 2019 to follow on next group order.
