Also bought a couple of coins from the LCS.  An 1853 $1 Liberty Type 1, and an 1861 $1 Type 3 Indian.  I'm only missing the $1 Type 2 and the $3 Indian Princess to complete my U.S. gold type set.


And if anyone hasn't examined a $1 gold coins in hand, here is a pic of them next to the tip of a pen for scale to show how small they are.  How people back then could have transacted with these without losing them is beyond me.

Lovely designs. Great detail. Really really shiny in hand which the photos do not do justice to. Amazing reflection of light about these coins. Really crisp minting. Will never make money on them but really classy. Gold plated around the edge. 3rd one of the set out in 2020.

New Napoleon 40 Lira, sold as 1813. Looks, to me, like the variety with the second 1 over a 0😀
 

I love the way you British people are proud of your country and buy Sovereigns and Britannia's and love them like your dearest.
In that same way I am starting my Dutch collection, and after the Lion Dollar Restrikes and a lot of Dutch junk silver, I'm continuing with this beautiful FDC .900 gold 5 and 10 guilders from 1912 and 1897!
Wow, I have been saving up a lot the last months, and finally decided to buy these, they are awesome!!!

Huge “Thanks!!” To @silverroller for a magnificent 2008 Gold Sovereign Proof to add to the modern sovereign proof collection. Also “a case of beer” from me for my first ever crypto purchase with @silverroller...a great help in working through the nuances of crypto wallets!

Additionally, @silverroller included some surprise silver coins which I didn’t have in my collection...a 1944 Silver Mercury dime, an 1887 Shilling and an 1889 Florin! Top bloke @silverroller!!

Adding to the Backyard Bullion collection, a couple 2019 1oz  TSF bars and the No. 01, 2019 100g silver BYB Bar! Thank you @BackyardBullion and Mrs. @BackyardBullion for fantastic silver hand pours and top-notch packaging!
