Thanks to our very own Numi! Really chuffed with another pair of 70s. Managed to get the SOTD promoted from PCGS 69 after a bit of NCS.

When I got hooked to sovereigns, that was some of the first things I did. 2002, 2005 and 2012 were easy.
For the 1989, I ended up buying the set of three for 1200€ hammer price. Still undecided about the half and the double... I'll keep the half, most likely. 
Just last week, an auction of a 1989 full sov alone fetched 750€ hammer price ?

A  2016 proof James Butler head half sovereign to add to the 2016 bullion half sovereign , just need the 1989 proof half and a 2008 bullion half to have all the busts and variations in half sovereigns since 1982 .

1937 George VI Gold Sovereign, PF65, to compliment a 1952 South Africa 1£ George VI.

2018 proof 1/4 oz bull.  My first purchase directly from The Royal Mint.  I am pleased and might give the silver proof a shot.

1871 Sydney large BP. Only posting it because I only have one other of these so clearly more rare! Definitely don't agree with Marsh ratings on a lot of coins.

I believe this is a B.P. version that has "die fill". Note the outline of the B is visible - a common occurrence.

Only my view but that's how I see it. I've got 4 similar coins of various years slabbed by PCGS and all say B.P.

Only inspection with a 30x loupe will categorically confirm.
