Mintage 508! Not in proof condition anymore but I couldn't resist.

Medal made from .929 gold of the Elbe river, Saxony Free State, Germany. Maximum mintage is 999 but six months after launch I received CoA 039/999.

Hello, sovereign day today. Picked up the 1985 proof sovereign and the three coin 1983 set with the 1/2 sovereign, sovereign and £2 coins. So have filled in a few gaps in my QE II sovereign date series. 

Mostly liver of sulphur and hand polishing to make the black shine
