Elephant and Roo Addenda   The 1/10 2024 Somalia Elephant is the 9th overpriced member of the series.   Also making an overdue appearance was my 71st RAM silver 1oz $1 Skippy - the 1999 Y2K Privy, a coin of which I was totally unaware until last year. I'm unconvinced that this version is officially recognized by the RAM, but the price from Germany was friendly. Only two members of the official set were minted with a privy, the "F15" and "25", both in 2018, the Roo's 25th anniversary.   The 2010 Somalia Heffer "Mule" has the 2009 reverse and was swiftly replaced with the new/correct 2010 motif by the Bavarian State Mint.   My appreciation to rumrunner @arphethean for arranging the delivery from Germany.

Started seriously stacking/collecting gold just over 3 years ago and breached the 1KG level late last year. The forum has been a massive part of this journey, @ChrisSilver I thank you for creating the community and the work you put in daily to cultivating a thriving environment, long may it continue. Started with silver, then moved onto bullion gold and proof coins thereafter. With the lovely weather of the bank holiday weekend I felt like sharing my collection so here it is. I took a load of pretty pics before putting everything back in lock up. I think I've accumulated a decent collection. I have a few outliers that I'll most probably sell on the forum at some point which are not part of below so keep a look out. I also may part with the bullion Britannia set (feel free to drop me a message if you're interested).
What next? I feel I have enough from an investment portfolio for now but I may start to pick up a few key older sovs, we'll see. Let me know what you think and thanks to you all again:

I love birds - so this lovely set of Belize coins from @CoinCupboard is perfect.
It is fifty years old and in fantastic condition.

Bit of a James Bond week.  Both 1980s and 1990s turned up this week.
2024 Six Decades of 007 - 1980's - Silver 2oz and Gold 1/4oz proofs
Octopussy's Acrostar Microjet - actually a real flying jet aircraft.
These two coins turned out to be spotless - a little spot of missing frosting here and there, as usual, but no contact marks.  Although, as shown in the previous microscope photos, the gold 1/4 has a 'wire edge' or 'wire rim' (terms vary) apparently caused when the gold is forced around the edge during the strike.

Another solitary shield arrived today, bought on Bookface
