Three beautiful sovereigns just returned from grading. Two at PR70DCAM & one PR69DCAM.

Picked these up from a dealer at the Anarchapulco conference here in Acapulco, Mexico.  High premiums, but I could not resist these beauties …...

Received one 2019 sovereign yesterday and the second order of two arrived today 🙂

1887-M shield, as anyone who has tried to find one knows they are very rare!
If anyone has an 1886-M they would want to trade PM me

Received all seven of my graded coins from @Numistacker, thank you very much for all your help and advice with that process. I'm pretty chuffed with all the grades i achieved. Cant even complain about my undated 20p, at least its genuine!
Here they are with a few other graded coins I already had in hand. Still absolutely loving my Gold Dragon & Phoenix!

Received these from metal market Europe (Poland) today, I have to say I'm impressed.
3 x tenth Platy Brits, came supplied in qua drum type capsule.
10. X 2019 silver Brits, came in tube and packed with peanuts to stop rattling. Quality appears better for these than orevious efforts.
delivery was via UPS for about £8 and I live in a generally high shipping cost area. General prices for bullion are good , decent stock and can pay in sterling.

Thank you for this information.  I’ve now had a look at what few pre-Jubilee Sydney sovereigns I have, and there does seem to be a difference between their colour and that of the London sovereigns.  I had not noticed this before, but I think the Sydney ones are slightly lighter in colour.  The following pictures try show there is a difference in colour (left, London 1871, right Sydney Young Head 1887).  The first two pictures show the coins at an angle and just about show a difference in colour.  Pictures three and four show the coins from directly above, and the Sydney one does seem to come out darker – but this is probably because it is more reflective (but you often see this shade with Australian sovereigns).
Whilst looking at these coins, I got the impression that the Sydney sovereign was slightly larger than the London one, but I thought I must be imagining it.  However, I subsequently found a post on this Forum in which members reported finding Sydney sovereigns 0.15mm larger than the standard sovereign.  See:

Looks like the Sydney Mint was using Silver in the 1/2  and full Sovs for a while. I wonder why they stopped.

1853 Proof, nothing much more to say but wow! 
I suspect many don't even know this rarity even exists, very very few in existence now. 
Pictures (especially from phone) don't do it any justice, so I will do a 4k video at some point so others can enjoy it

 

Received this little half proof Sovereign today.

Here's a very cool 1kg silver medal, one of my favorite, the 1980 golden monkey stamp is very well loved in China.

2 down, 2 to go. Now it start's to get expensive.!!!

 
 
 

1902 half matt proof.
I’m still undecided as to whether I like the matt finish or not. I think probably leaning towards not! It does have an interesting glisten though when reflecting light at certain angles
