When does an error start and an imperfect coin begin. Would love to know the grading companies opinion. Would they acknowledge it as an error or a “bad” coin with a reduced grade. Keep your errors London CC !!! 😂

The OP is new to the forum.

I have a PCGS slab where the coin tarnished after slabbing. It’s only tarnish. Maybe a slight gap in the seal? Even gold mixed with other metals like copper can develop spots.

I don’t have a suggestion You’d like to hear because having it conserved etc probably won’t be worth the investment. If it were me I’d just keep it. 

Could be one to keep longer term @Paul some coons only come on the market every 10 years and those go for millions. Very small limited downside but a very large upside (a bit like today’s interest rates - unless they go negative 😂).

There was also one for sale at £2,500. He can ask £1Million for it. It doesn’t mean he will get it. Note the “make offer” button!!

5% is nothing. I’m waiting for it to go down 20-25%. You can lose 3% in a day.

Depends on the type and quality of frame mate. You’re best visiting a few framing companies and finding a design that will go well with the picture and maybe get 3 similar quotes. Sometimes you’ll see a certain frame and pay the extra because you just prefer it.

If it was a premium I don’t think much was passed on. As it’s cheaper than I can find it anywhere else for the same quality.

That’s exactly why I went through the mint, the price was right and knowing it’s genuine.

At least you know the mint have checked it to be genuine.
