It would be better to include the item number, seller ID, and / or a direct link, plus the item title and description. Preferably all of these.
This furthr information would provide important clues, if any were needed.
As everybody else has said, just looking at the photos, it is not a coin.
It is not even a fake coin, it is only a replica or "round" and it does say " Golden State Mint", so you could have Googled them and found the answer in seconds.
It is still not too late to add the direct link, instead of expecting everyone else to try searching for it 🙂
Yes I agree with all of your points there Lawrence. I could and normally would have put a direct link to assist but the title, description etc didn’t help really.
I then read your last comment and think to myself. “ Is he being funny with me there?”
I don’t know

It is probably not fake. These are round minted by the Golden State Mint. It is not the official coin minted by the US Mint.
More details on their website: https://www.goldenstatemint.com/1-10-oz-incuse-indian-gold-round.html
Thanks for the link. I wasn’t aware these rounds existed.

The 1/10 is not a official Government minted coin is it ?
That’s the first thing that stood out to me. Normally stamped dollars not 1/10

Many thanks, I'd missed that it was the iconic design for long-term Kook collectors (I've only been collecting the last few years, and mainly the more recent ones as the older ones are so expensive) so great point, cheers!
I really like it so am certainly going to try to grab one at least. I don't have much of an idea on the history of the Kook golds, unfortunately - having a browse today I am not much more the wiser. There seem to be a few from down the years, and obviously the 2015 anniversary is a (the?) biggie, but beyond that I'm pretty lost. Any more input much appreciated!
Hey @kimchi was waiting for you to chip in regarding this coin lol. Fancy it myself to be fair. If the silver version is anything to go by then the quality/strike will be far better than bullion. Almost “proof” like you could say.
There have been other gold kooks in the past. Not many and think most have been smaller than 1/10oz in size
Either way I’m interested so if you get wind of a Poss group but pls keep me posted
Cheers buddy

I bout a half gram elephant from Apmex and I think I bought out all the inventory they had. I can’t find info on the mintage for the gold elephant especially the half gram.
I bought a 1/2 gram recently too from Ash. It’s super tiny but it was the 2018 design which is my favourite

Feel I understand the whole Kinesis model but bit unclear about these initial token offerings.
Are these tokens purchased back once the gold and silver coins become active in March next year?
How does one anticipate whether $1000 is a good deal or not and what it’s value is in the next 6 mths? What returns can you expect to achieve?
Cheers

Has anyone bought any of these KVT’S yet for $1000 USD each?

Where did you purchase this beauty from?
Many thanks. Bought it off Facebook but pretty sure it’s @SilverStan on here.
Very nice. Showed it off to several people who have no idea about PM’s and they were blown away by the size and weight of it.
Cheers

Fractional gold expensive

Hi there
Just checked Goldsilverbe and some of the 1/10 coins which I used to purchase are so expensive now. How come?
Lunar 1/10s and Kangaroos premiums are huge. Generic bullion is better, but previously most of these coins were a lot cheaper (premium) to buy.
