Received my first South Korean Komsco medallions this week. They look great
Something I just found out recently .... the Zi:Sin series is actually a lunar series!!!! Gallus the rooster, Canis the dog and Scrofa the pig. It's very refreshing to see a new take on a Lunar series.
And big thanks @MikeSol for the Chiwoo Cheonwangs, @SilverStan for the Zi:SIn Gallus and Canus and @MickD for the Zi:Sin Scrofa.
I have the 2016 Chiwoo on the way and still on the look out for a Zi:Sin Scrofa ghost if any one has any spare?

1871 Sydney Shield - Strange R in GRATIA and F/E in DEF
I discovered this variety last year and have just found another this morning to confirm there are more out there, it's a nice error considering so few exist within the Sydney shield series

1873 Shield - Unrecorded Die number 24. There is a large gap in the die numbers for this year from 23 - 100 with only 2 being found in between. This die number wasn't found by the Bentley collector either, it's assumed that Marsh's records are incorrect for these large runs of gaps that he claimed existed from RM and other records.
It's nice to improve upon other cataloguers records with new additions!
Some overstamp on the 2 in die number also, can't check it further right now as don't have scope handy

Today I received a 2019 silver penny from the Royal Mint’s celebratory baby cards series.
In previous years the portcullis with chains has been used on the silver one penny coins in these packs (rather than the current circulating version of the 1p which features part of the shield).  This year the Royal Mint have gone to the trouble of redesigning this one penny coin by moving the date from the obverse and putting it on the reverse under the portcullis (where the “1” used to be) - but the marketing department does not seem to have told anyone about this.
Interestingly, the “good luck” pack contains a copper one penny coin but with the standard partial shield design – I do think the Royal Mint missed an opportunity to replicate the new design on the copper version of the coin.

received my buys from @arshimo2012 and @MikeSol  , well happy with them - all less than a price of a gruffalo , i know what i would rather have.

Nice new error, there was an example in the Bentley collection with an A/V and Roman I but this just has the Roman I
Also to note this variety has the number Zero (0) for O in date which is also the scarcer variation in my experience
