Today i received a lovely little gold nugget from the auctions last week, along with the super shiny 1oz trafalgar square lion. Both courtesy of @stackerp5. 
Also some fractional silver from an online live sale. 2 1/4 oz noahs arks  2 1/10 oz walking liberties and 2 teeny weenie 1 gram geigers.
Loving this stacking game guys im not gonna lie. I think im hooked!

The brand new 100x1g valcambi and the double sov. The sov's picture hasn't been edited. It is the sheer shiny blinding golden light reflecting off the coin.

Is it?  I was watching my local news last night where a metal company makes and galvanises industrial fences and they were saying its becoming very expensive to heat the tanks to 400deg.    Silver would need smelting and then refining the cost is likely to be more than the value of the silver if energy prices continue to rise.   I know  toughened glass is getting so expensive just to firing up a kiln.  Anything that uses energy especially heavy industry can not escape the manipulated energy prices even manipulated silver.    It's going to be an interesting 6 months. 
What could be an Interesting scenario is where industry still needs refined fine silver but they can't afford the inflated cost......where could they get their hand on tons of refined fine silver?..........Stackers!   Might even see cash for silver adverts on TV it could get to a point where it's cheaper to cut out the mining refining part and just buy fine silver on the open market and offer say £30+ oz.
Gees I'm sounding like a silver convert...........

Fast becoming my favourite coins.

Better in Gold...but Still No Walk on the Beach   As far as the Royal Mint One Pound coin designs go, the "Nations of the Crown" has to rate as staggeringly average and is soundly thrashed into a cocked hat by its predecessor, the exquisite 2016 "Last Round Pound", designed by Gregory Cameron. After six years of this incessant tedium it is impossible to fathom why the RM has not managed to update this tired and uninspired numismatic anachronism. That being said, the design does look somewhat better lend itself to bi-coloured gold that it does to a silver/gold combo. Surprisingly, an uncomfortably high number of 2,142 "collectors" deemed this coin worthy of purchase upon release, making it the second highest mintage of all gold proof decimal pounds. More fool them.    Presumably buyers were unaware that the new shape heralded a latter-day coin-clipping exercise by the RM, with the missing "corners" accounting for a 10% reduction in gold content. Which was nice.   As with my silver £1 collection, this dodecagonal usurper will be the final coin in my (currently incomplete) set.   Excellent service from Louise at @CoinsOfTheRealmAuctions. Highly recommended.

Was actually last Saturday i recieved this. A friend of a friend was selling at i price i couldn't refuse. £350!!!!

Silver 2oz and Gold 1/4oz QB set complete.
I guess my plan, after finishing the 2oz QBs, of going onto the 10oz next, didn't work out.
I want to thank both @Midasfrog and ultimately @modofantasma for the complete set.  (I now have spares!)

Another step closer to the Sixpence Type Set I am putting together.  This time a Charles I 1643- 1644, mm Lion Spink: 2876. 2.89g.  Charles portrait depicted in a scalloped lace collar and Reverse with a Crowned oval shield.
The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Charles by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland"; and on the reverse "I reign under the auspice of Christ."
This is a nice VF/gVF Hammered example of a provincial issued York Mint Sixpence from the midst of the English Civil War. Charles I issued coins from many English & Welsh besieged towns & cities during the war, in order to pay his armies and ensure trade and commerce could continue.

Here comes "spanner " in the works 😆 buy both singles now if the cash is there! Problem arises down the road then sell one for the needed cash? Can you safely say you will not chip away at the cash between now and then? Sometimes having available cash is more inconvenient than not ( I know that sounds ironic but hopefully you get my point) if I have not made any sense..the just do what my wife does and ignore me😀
