Can see why. I don't do date runs of any denominations but if I did I think I'd probably do these George V 1/2 Crowns and, just to shake things up from your suggestion, the Edwardian Florins.

2oz silver. I've only anecdotal evidence for this but think they do tend to prioritise shipping according to value on releases such as this but still a good sign yours might not be too far behind!

You are absolutely correct from an investment standpoint. As it stands now, without even thinking long-term, you can generally get 30% profit straight way from a 1 oz issue if bought at RM RRP price whereas I've seen some issues of the 2 oz on sale on eBay for a 5-10% loss already. I think that margin is only going to increase (albeit slightly) in time.
But I buy coins with my heart, not with my head & it's just more satisfying to both look at & hold in your hand, those weighty 2 oz'ers. 😂

Think I've finally decided how I'm going to go about collecting this series - 2 oz in Houses Tudor & Stuart & 1 oz in Hanoverians & Windsor. 🤔
Logic being that I don't want financial burden of collecting them all in 2 oz & choosing that way round cause I can already get high grade genuine crowns for all the House of Windsor monarchs whilst the Hanoverian Monarchs (early ones at least) don't have the most interesting portraits imo.
Wheras I'll never be able to afford highest grade Tudor & Stuart coins so makes sense to make them the 2 oz ones plus just find the designs (e.g. with archaic lettering) more interesting! Anyway that's my thinking as it currently stands.

And also the total number of releases planned. Even if everyone has them all up to this fifth one well still just the 16 more for a completed set... 😃
