Today I received my 2oz Tudor beast bullion coin. Never had a problem with the royal mint but this is unacceptable to me  

Well my lion Tudor beast proof arrived today. I was worried but to be fair both my coins have arrived in good shape. I must be one of the lucky ones. I tend to get my coins later than anyone else from the mint and that theory seems to have worked. Don't worry about the black dot on the shield is was on the outside of the capsule and since gone.

Nice bit of bullion for the permastack I don’t mind the Tudor beasts 🤩

Not sure what I think of this purchase so far but it arrived in spotless condition.

Looks like this set was still in the sealed plastic bag until the auctioneer opened it to take pictures.  Box and coins are perfect.

These turned up today, along with a load of airtite capsules. Should keep me going for the next 40 years!

Delivery of some items from the Royal Mint -- came in yesterday. I have to say, the new Lion of England bullion gold coin is very nice!! It looks even better in real life. At first I was skeptical, but I've been converted...
The new 100g silver minted bar is also nice, but the premium is quite hefty.

Another 2022 sotd sovereign and yes it ain't perfect either just how most of them are i think.
 

With difficulty! A fine but strong blade between the halves and work it round until wide enough to get a fingernail in. There was some slight capsule damage by the time I got it opened. But I hate looking at coins through plastic so just had to get it open. The capsule has not been pressed firmly shut for storage so will open easily again.

Send back as even that can't be described as bullion 🙈
@Gordy has some up on the forum, that will have been checked over before selling.

Love these. I have been wondering whether to collect them or not for a while now. Definitely a class above the other Chinese zodiac releases.
