Completed the set ☺️ Thought id get some photos before they went off to the safe. The original is superb and the photo’s do it no justice, deep blues and purples.

A nice before and after NGC conservation study here, on a very lovely 1923SA 1/2 proof. I knew it was nice, but I always struggle to see through the haze with confidence. Came back PF65 🙂

Did the seller list what the coins were?
Is he really a "reputable seller"?, and who says so?
Did you check the list of coins by Googling them before agreeing to buy them?...
... or when you received them?
I notice you have not listed them here, and the photos provided are not good enough to be able to easily identify what they are supposed to be.
You ask about the Sigma. We received 2 Sigma machines a few weeks ago, but I have not spent much time with them. The ony two times I have used it so far left me unimpressed.
Do you think the seller actually tested all 3, or just one?
Did he explain the Sigma reading? Did he miss anything out?
In my opinion, a lot of people now place too much reliance on equipment, and don't use or develop their own skills and abilities as much as they could. For example, it should not have been difficult for you to Google all 3 coins, to check their specified composition. Numista is a good resource. In addition, if your pawnbroker friend found a hallmark (or other quality mark), why did you not find it first, and have you now studied it to ensure you could find another in future?
Do you have a magnifying glass? A "2" or "2.5" eyeglass is more useful than a 10x loupe.
I apologise if my response sounds harsh or over critical, but I prefer to try and help people to be able to use their own judgement and provide their own answers, rather than simply answer their questions. (Teach A Man To Fish).

well this is the big one for me, some of you may remember I enquired about a chess set and @BackyardBulliontook care of me, this morning I received my 1st set of pawns and the chess board with storage underneath and I can't tell you how happy I am with the package, you hope it will be great, you see the pictures of previous sets and are excited but just wow!!! 1st thing is the quality of the board and @BackyardBulliondad deserves an incredible amount of praise, its stunning even after I went a wee bit extra and enquired about storage and he nailed it, next the size, its incredible and totally matches the pieces and is really heavy!! the pawns are superb and have felt bottom to save scratching the board which was a nice touch and now I'm sure if anyone has read this far of me waffling the pictures (oh forgot each piece comes in its individual pouch!) and everything was superbly well packed.

Received this a couple of weeks ago but thought I’d hold it back for Jubilee weekend. The 2oz Gold Queens Beast Completer in PF70. A mintage of only 100. What. A. Coin!!! The longest reigning monarch surrounded and protected by the countries beasts. I don’t think there is a better original modern coin design that has been produced by the Royal Mint during Queen Elizabeth’s reign. For me it sits alongside the Una and the Lion, Three Graces, Rocking Horse Crown and 2014 Britannia as stand out designs. Amongst modern coin engravers Jody Clark has created some designs that will be revered for many years to come. The jewel in the crown for my modern coin collection for sure

Today I received after 30 years of service my gold crown. 😆
it’s done a lot of hard work in 30 years but whereas the tooth has finally gave up the gold still shines on. ☀️
