My one issue with physical silver as an asset to trade with is it can mark/milk over time

this is the one thing I hate about silver, love the price, but hate the premiums and I'm always on edge hoping it doesn't milk spot. Gold might be expensive but at least you know there's a 99% chance it will still look the same after 4 years.

This is a common misconception about silver, many invest in silver to keep their wealth, not grow it.

Remember, you haven't lost anything until you cash out, so if you can afford to hold it, do so until the time is right, one day silver will be worth more than you paid for it, whether that same money would be worth even more than that if it had been invested in something else is anyone's guess.

It is a rather contrary way we view fiat currency. People complain about slumping silver prices whilst forgetting that their money year on year has paid for less and less meanwhile our salaries have stagnated. I would have loved to have been paid part of my salary in gold and silver

Aha, I ordered from GBA for first time last week and they need to be prompted to update my invoice paid, in answer to my question when it would be shipped they said call this number blah blah blah. Still no answer.

Ainslie have awesome service but the prices are too jacked right now but they are not the worst. I wonder about Bullion Be Roayle or whatever it's called they have harmonicas for $39 wow. And my experience with Perth is they never make enough stock available exclusively to Au customers just sells out too fast, the limited stuff that is, and I hate the lunar series which is usually available. Ainslie now have the dragon bars for $42 but I wont touch them as I'm not a Pagan and goes against my beliefs

What is it about the dragons that you're against?

Id send it back. I've just ordered one of these along with the 100oz. I paid a bloody big premium so if they have any imperfections i will be sending them back for replacements.

*sigh* I've literally had to return every Una bar I've had delivered by RM now. So this makes 4 in total. Something is telling me I'm not supposed to have this bar

According to coinflation.com our pre 1982 pennies' melt value are 2.7 cents roughly for each penny. So a 1.7 cent profit if you could legally melt them.

Not legal unfortunately, then again you could accidentally lose your balance over the fire whilst transporting your jar....
